Locale molto curato, bella vista panoramica , camerieri molto preparati e disponibili verso il cliente (cosa non facile da trovare), proprietario gentile veramente una persona "a modo", cucina ottima, sia antipasti che le pizze , consigliato veramente

The food was good but a little expensive compared to average. Pay attention to the bill, they put an extra pizza in ours. They canceled it when we said it though, it doesn't seem nice to me.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. First question was anyone have allergies of course me I have celiacs so I went for the dry aged steak. Hands down the steak was amazing felt like I was back home in states at Peter Lugers. The owner super friendly and showed concern of my allergy to make sure no cross contamination. Staff was also amazing I would definitely recommend this 5 stars all around.

From the venue to the food, everything is taken care of and of excellent quality. We've known this place for a few years, the pizza is excellent, traditional flavors but also refined combinations.

The place is not immediately visible from the street and rather hidden. However, the interiors are well cared for with a splendid view. Honorable mention for the pizza, whose dough is excellent and the choice of extra virgin olive oil is excellent. Disappointed however by the fried appetizers, not particularly tasty and whose taste unfortunately did not satisfy the diners. The wait staff is competent and kind. Average prices

Pranzo di compleanno festeggiato in questo ristorante al confine tra Pagani e Sant’Egidio M.A. Il ristorante offre uno spazio per parcheggiare. La sala interna è accogliente ed offre cucina a vista. Molto buono il servizio, la nostra cameriera è stata molto gentile e cordiale. Ottimi gli antipasti ed i primi provati. Tagliata ben cotta e carne ottima. Purtroppo andrebbero evitati gli antipasti per potersi gustare la carne alla brace che è il fiore all’occhiello del locale. Di sicuro torneremo per gustare solo la carne e poi provare le pizze. In estrema sintesi, giudizio

06/07/2024: Very quiet environment, I liked the comfort of the room both external and internal, staff who serve without a shred of desire, ugly to look at. Decent sandwich, soft exterior, porchetta as double as a slice of rib and full of fat... Prices normal.

30/07/2024: In the historic center of Policastro, in the small square in front of the Duomo you will find this characteristic restaurant with tables overlooking the mother church. You dine in an atmosphere of other times, where time passes slowly, with a pleasant coolness. The food is all of good quality and above all truly zero km, from the appetizers of excellent Cilento cured meats, to the cheeses, to the vegetable-based one with peppers, aubergines, parmigiana and pumpkin. Then we had two second courses of meat, including a mixed grill which was really good and plentiful. The homemade desserts are also good, including a tiramisu in the glass. The service was fast and kind. The enchanting environment for those looking for the heart of a village from times gone by, peaceful and quiet.
14/07/2024: We stumbled upon this restaurant for a dinner with friends and returned the following two evenings. Outdoor dinner directly in front of the Duomo in the historic area of ​​Policastro, an easy-going environment and very friendly staff. All the appetizers are good! ...sea, vegetable garden (marinated pumpkin is fantastic if you like vinegar!) and cured meats and cheeses.... The ricotta ravioli with Cilento sauce and the cavatelli with seafood sauce are excellent, as is the fried fish! ....sweets....amaretti cake! Excellent quality/quantity/price ratio. Thank you! The Genoese.
