Scandura Delicatessen In Biancavilla

We found this place quite by accident. Its tucked away and not obvious from the street. What a find! Cakes are to die for and there are 18 different flavours of hot chocolate. Do yourself a favour and call in for a canolli.

Wow, what can I say 🤔😱🤔? Trendy place, possibility of finding various types of dishes: pizzas with really soft dough and top ingredients, fish/meat first courses, fish/meat second courses, appetizers with fish crudites. Fantastic service, waiting time from order to service was only 15 minutes even though the place was full, and it was after 10pm on a Saturday! I ate a fantastic mixed fried calamari, prawns and sardines, accompanied by a focaccia with oil, salt and oregano, cooked to perfection 🤤. If you are in the area I recommend you stop by Scandura to delight your palates. P.S. sorry for the lack of photos, everything is too inviting! 😋 .

We were driving in the Sicilian countryside on a Sunday when almost everything is closed. We were getting a little hungry and stopped at Scandura. Very welcoming but they were apologetic that their pizza oven wasn’t operating on Sunday. We all had delicious homemade pasta with salad and everything was perfetto. First rate service too.

Diciamo che da allergica a tante cose la scelta è limitata ma oggi il dessert che mi è stato portato era molto buono come volevasi aspettare sicuramente mio marito avrà chiesto niente cioccolato ma c'è una decorazione in cioccolato almeno è sopra e posso toglierla. Poi qualche giorno fa a proposito della ristorazione. Non avevo ancora avuto l'occasione di mangiare la pizza da loro e benché avrei voluto un altra pizza le mie scelte erano off limits quella serata, devo dire che ho mangiato bene, con i miei cognati forse siamo venuti prestino abbiamo fatto un aperitivo prima, ma devo dire che il pizzaiolo è top🔝😉👌 ve lo consiglio.

I stopped for my usual breakfast break during my bike rides and I must say that it was worth it, excellent quality croissant and TOP coffee.

Typical Sicilian products... delicious!! A must when you visit Biancavilla
