A good place to go with friends or alone. The food is healthy, well-cooked, and tasty. On Saturday nights, there's a great guitarist who'll play whatever you want.

Pizzeria and restaurant a little outside the city center, with outdoor seating. Excellent pizza. The menu includes both meat and seafood dishes (we haven't tried them). They also offer a fixed-price menu. Prices are moderate. Good service with friendly staff. Free street parking.

A guarantee... we celebrated my son's baptism in this family-run restaurant... everything was perfect from the atmosphere to the staff, the quality of the food, and the owner's patience in choosing the perfect menu for this occasion... very fresh fish... the ravioli with prawns and lemon are highly recommended 🫠🫠

Good morning everyone, today I'd like to share my positive experience at the Scacco Matto pizzeria in Tortona. I found this place by chance, located in a suburban area near the Iper supermarket, a bit hidden in a very quiet residential neighborhood with convenient street parking. The staff is very friendly and polite, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It's one of the few places where you can eat pizza that's neither tissue paper nor a lifebelt-like crust. The dough is light and the toppings are delicious, reminding me of the delicious pizzas of the '80s and '90s, which I really enjoyed. I'll definitely be returning when I'm in the area.

Excellent experience at Scacco Matto. Even though it was a Saturday and there were 24 of us, the wait was minimal. The pizzas were good, the fried fish was crispy and flavorful, and the desserts were truly delicious. The staff were a real plus: friendly, quick, and efficient. Highly recommended.
