As written on the menu, Mrs. Gaia opened this place with the idea of welcoming people into her home made of travel, experiences and traditions. All true, we were on a business trip for 10 days and we went to eat in his restaurant 3 evenings in a row because we felt at home. Delicious food all made by them.
It's not very organized with the staff, if you don't book nothing happens but they get anxious, including Gaia who gives slightly out of place answers as if instead of ordering you should get up and help her because she can't do everything alone. Hire friendly Gaia staff

Little gem in the middle of nothing, excellent place to relax and eat very well 1 minute from the station, especially while waiting for a room to be ready when you arrive in Ferrara.

Arrivato su consiglio di amici “locali”, da fuori sembra abbastanza anonimo ma entrando…. Si capisce la passione della titolare Gaia! Locale molto pulito curato. Piatti non molto ma ben fatti. Ho optato per un cous cous verdure: molto gradevole ben composto, non “unto”. Ottimi i desserts, guardando alle ordinazioni dei tavoli vicini anche altri primi ben fatti e appetitosi.

Excellent pizza, super hemp dough. The pizzas are not large but they are worth it and the prices are absolutely fair compared to the quality of the raw materials.
Various vegetarian/vegan options on the menu, smiling and kind staff.
The only flaw is the environment, which needs to be modernized and the location is rather "hidden".
In any case recommended, we will be back.

On the recommendation of a taxi driver we went to this small restaurant near the station. The exterior is anonymous as is the interior furnishings. However, the cuisine is excellent with excellent pizzas cooked in a wood oven
The house starters and desserts are also excellent. The relationship between quality and price is also excellent.

Su indicazione di un tassista ci siamo recati in questo piccolo ristorante nei pressi della stazione. L'esterno è anonimo così come l'arredo interno. La cucina tuttavia è ottima con eccellenti pizze cotte in forno a legna
Ottimi anche gli antipasti della casa e buonissimi i dolci. Ottimo anche il rapporto tra qualità e prezzo.

Old style place, the classic tavern (said in a good sense), where you look more at substance than appearance. Simple but effective food. Ate three pinzini, a ham pizza and a homemade trifle. All spending 15 euros with a bottle of water. 0

We chose this place as it is well known by our friends and also thanks to its vegan alternatives, for those who need it. As an appetizer we took "coccoli" (fried pizza dough bonbons) with 4 different sauces (really delicious) and also some falafel, wine and water drinks. Someone took the first course, including potato gnocchi with mint artichoke cream and lemon bread crumble, and spaghetti with anchovies, capers and stracciatella, while as second courses we opted for sliced chicken (I replaced the salad with grilled vegetables), sliced beef with potatoes and Scacciaburger. I forgot to take photos of the desserts (and I don't remember the various choices) but I can assure you that they were really good despite the delicacy of some of the flavors: a sort of rice mousse with various "toppings", including black cherries and ginger. Final coffee and Roman payment, around 23 euros each for 8 people.
The lady who served us was nice but without ever seeming excessive, really kind and helpful if a change or some info was asked for. Overall very good prices and within everyone's reach, the variety of dishes is very appreciable for those who follow a distinct diet.
The place was furnished in a simple way, I would say in a "typical Italian trattoria" style. In my personal taste, I would add more personality to the place, to do justice to the quality of the cuisine, but all in all it "fits" even so, modest and without the pomp which is often too much.
Undoubtedly we will return for another good meal in company (and for those phenomenal cuddles).
