Sbionta In Rimini

The food was very tasty. The salmon was a bit dry, the carbonara was tasty, and the buffalo pizza was excellent. The desserts were outstanding.

The pasta with Artichoke cream, bacon and shaved cheese was AMAZING!!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful service during our holiday. Even our dog was always welcome. Thank you to the incredibly friendly and always cheerful staff. I'm already looking forward to next year.

We went to Sbionta yesterday for a classic Sunday lunch with a group of friends and family. I ordered a piadina with roast beef, tomato, lettuce, and mayonnaise, and one with grilled vegetables. Both were excellent, especially the light and flavorful crust. Followed by a large plate of generous, crispy, and perfectly dry fries, washed down with an ice-cold medium beer. Despite the restaurant being busy due to the weekend, service was very quick, and the staff was organized and friendly in handling our orders. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and informal, with plenty of space inside but also plenty of seating on the Marina Centro promenade, just steps from the sea. Fair value, perfect for a quick lunch with friends. We'll definitely be back!

We were actually very satisfied with Sbionta... if it weren't for one particular employee. During our visit to Rimini, we ate at Sbionta every evening for the first few nights. The food was okay, the wine selection good and fairly priced. The male waiters provided very friendly service. However, we then had a very unpleasant encounter with a female employee. Although we had asked several times if our table was reserved (there was initially no sign on the table) and we had ordered food and drinks, a "Reserved" sign with the word "19h" (!!!) written on it was placed on our table at 7 pm. Immediately afterward, the aforementioned waitress came and, while we were still eating dessert, asked us to change tables. She did offer us an alternative table, but we found this strange way of organizing and communicating to be an affront, especially since she didn't seem to make any effort to be friendly. As we heard from other employees, she seems to have issues with this. We then paid and tried to leave. We expressed our displeasure at the checkout, whereupon the employee reappeared and made a huge fuss. Thankfully, the owner of the restaurant salvaged the situation... nevertheless, the evening was ruined for us, and we spent the rest of our time at other restaurants in Rimini. A shame.

Classic Romagna hospitality. It's a shame there were people next to us, probably known to the restaurant, so they were told the kitchen was crowded (they only had one cook) and that if they wanted to eat quickly, they should order pizza or piadinas. I don't think this is fair, because they should tell everyone, especially if there are children at the table. Obviously, this is more about the known people than the "tourist" customers, because they treat other people the same way, not just us. If you don't call, they won't show up. Maybe two more people are working, and it might speed things up. The place is full of neglected plants with dusty leaves, which definitely need cleaning with a nice damp cloth. The food, however, is delicious: well-stuffed piadinas filled with every delicacy, the tagliatelle with ragù is excellent, the paccheri alla carbonara is delicious, and the desserts are top notch. It's a shame, because if the atmosphere were more refined, I would have given it 5 stars, because the food really deserves it.
