My mother and I had lunch; she had the risotto and I had the lasagna. For dessert, we ordered fritters and tiramisu, both incredibly good, with coffee, of course. Everything was delicious. They have a great variety and a lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed it!

This is probably one of the most popular restaurants in the alleys of Venice. The first floor is a self-service à la carte area where you have to find a table, and it's always difficult to get one. The second floor is a more relaxed à la carte area with the same prices as the first floor, but the opening hours are limited. The pasta portions are huge, and it's much more affordable than Pasta to Go!

During a quick evening visit to Venice, I chose this place for a reasonably priced dinner given the setting. It's located in one of the side streets, yet still within walking distance of Venice's main attractions. You enter, choose your dishes from the menu or from the display case, and are provided with cutlery and a placemat. You can eat at the counter or at a table. The portions are generous, and what I ate was good, too. The fritto misto looked inviting, although I didn't order it (I saw it too late 😅).
If you're looking for a reasonably priced place in Venice without breaking the bank, I recommend it.

Very clean store and easy to navigate once you find lithe little alleyway it is in. We tried the cannelloni and the mozzarella in carrozza - the later is what they are most famous for and we went late in the day so this was freshest. For the price it was unbeatable - a few euros for a block of mozzarella and ham that will fuel you for a few hours.
