Really good and affordable pasta in the city centre. Tried it on whim based on reviews but felt I didn’t order what the locals did ( may be due to me sitting in the area where everyone is ordering frittis… Come early to avoid the crowd. This is off peak in Feb so you may be out of luck once peak season starts

Excellent place! One of the best things to eat on the island, it is not exactly for tourists, many locals come. I was surprised by the Mozarella fritta, it is unique.

Excellent rotisserie in Venice, perfect for a post-match. The mozzarella in carrozza is the real highlight: crunchy, stringy and fried to perfection. The fried foods are always fresh and of high quality. The spritz is also good, ideal for relaxing after the stadium. Prices are normal for Venice, therefore acceptable. Only flaw? Always a lot of people, but overall a great place for a tasty snack in an informal atmosphere.

03/01/2025: I went with my family for lunch on Santo Stefano on the recommendation of some friends. We had a very good time. Very kind staff, excellent food (tuna tataki with space vegetables). Very welcoming and private environment. I will definitely be back!
28/12/2024: A nice Christmas lunch with the family. We chose this restaurant to spend Christmas lunch with the family as we had previously been there and had a very good time. Always excellent food, we chose the meat menu, really good even if the house specialty is fish. Good service, always attentive to the dishes and the customer. Correct timing (considering that it was Christmas), right portions... radicchio pie, scamorza and sausage, and top pie. I will happily return.

Al Gallo D'Oro

17/12/2024: Solo probé las pizzas, pero fueron las mejores que probé en Venecia. Local a medio minuto de la plaza de San Marcos. Un poco escondido. Si pasas por la puerta no te llama la atención, pero fue una sorpresa.
30/11/2024: Accueillir très sympathique. Mention spéciale pour les luiguines aux palourdes et pour le tiramisu. N'hésitez pas à vous arrêter. Très bonne adresse
