Mozzarella in carrozza is a must-try in Venice. We came here over 10 years ago and fell in love with the mozzarella in carrozza and the creamed cod. After more than 10 years, we've been back, and the mozzarella in carrozza is still delicious and reasonably priced (3 euros each). I recommend stopping by if you're in Venice; it's an easy walk from both St. Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge.

We were recommended by the owner of the accommodation where we were staying and the truth is that the little we tried because we weren't very hungry was delicious.

The mozzarella in a carriage is delicious, as is the chocolate mousse. A good place for a quick snack in the center of Venice. You order at the counter and then they charge you when you get it. It gets quite busy at lunchtime.

We were treated like we were at home. We ordered fried fish, which was delicious, and a Milanese steak with potatoes, which was enormous. For Spaniards who don't want to eat pasta and pizza every day, it's ideal because they have a wide variety on the menu.

Tasty and quality food. Fast, attentive and kind staff. Little place to sit but upstairs with only 2 euros more you can settle at a table. Reasonable prices.

Osteria Al Squero

25/02/2025: Dorsoduro, fronte Squero (cantiere) di San Trovaso. L'Osteria è di fatto un take away del cicchetto. La fila fuori è spesso “chilometrica”, la calca dentro quasi come all’apertura cancelli ad un concerto di Vasco. Si può consumare su micro tavolini all’interno del locale (ma non è facile trovare posto) oppure all’esterno, appoggiati “alla bene e meglio” sul muretto fronte canale. Il servizio è sprint (complimenti alle ragazze!) i cicchetti ottimi (basta saper scegliere). Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
04/01/2025: Bel bacaro posto di fronte uno squero storico di Venezia. Si può consumare di fronte il locale sul muretto del canale (facendo attenzione ai gabbiani agguerriti 😅) sulla mensola posta di fronte la vetrina, oppure internamente su sgabelli e tavolinetto predisposti. Spritz e vino ad ottimi prezzi. Cicchetti e polpette in gran varietà, a prezzi accettabili. Ho apprezzato veramente tutto, soprattutto l’atmosfera informale e calda del locale. Ci tornerò!

La Locandina Ristorante

19/07/2025: Il posto è splendido, anche se non si capisce bene da fuori, e la cucina è commovente. Un antipasto, un primo e un dessert in due, io ho preso la Venezia nel piatto ed era tutto perfetto. Anche la cheesecake scomposta era straordinaria. Bravi!
10/05/2025: We couldn't have chosen a better place🧡 Reception for 10; kindness and friendliness reign supreme in this place. We thank Alex for recommending the fantastic room!!!!! The shower in the middle of the room, chromotherapy...wow wow wow. And thanks also to Denise who checked us out (very sweet girl) and who with her smile made us want to return to this little enchanted place. Well done guys. And thanks again.
