Rotisserie that has nothing to envy of Venetian restaurants, since the quality of what you eat at Gislon is very high and the prices are competitive. They range from fish-based dishes, cooked to perfection, to fried foods, among which the mozzarella in carrozza with anchovies stands out. Don't forget the sandwiches, for which you don't skimp on the stuffing. Very honest prices, fast and efficient service. What can I say, I almost had a lunch subscription during the Venice tour.

Recommended by a local. I had a very reasonably priced meal and very tasty meal here. It is partially self-service. You choose from a large selection of antipasti, fish, and shellfish, then the plate is brought to your table. It was well worth it and I highly recommend it as long as you're not looking for ambience.

I often came to this Rosticceria with my parents in the 1970s/1980s. I've been looking for it since, but it's well hidden in a maze of small streets. I finally found her and she hasn't changed! You can always find this authentic Venetian cuisine (and also from the Vicenza region). In particular, there is a wide choice of baccalà recipes, each one equally tasty. The pasta and especially the risotti are excellent. This is family cuisine, the likes of which you hardly find today in Venice. The quality/price ratio is perfect. You can eat either at the tavola calda on the ground floor, self-service, or at the restaurant upstairs. It's usually very full at peak times, but the service is fast and for such quality it's worth the wait for a place to become available.

Super delicious food at a super fair price! The service is extremely friendly and the ambience reflects the spirit of the times. It's a shame that we only discovered the restaurant on our last day. Keep it up!

Lunch break at the top. A friend recommended the place to us, and he wasn't wrong in the slightest. Mozzarella in carrozza with anchovies that melts in your mouth, the fried food is good and not at all heavy, the spritz is excellent. Low price for the quality of the food. Advised!

The fried foods are excellent, especially the cod fillets and bucatini omelettes. Very tasty and well cooked. Average prices. Highly recommended for a quick bite to eat.

Cheap and central. You will have to go early to be able to sit on the ground floor to eat or drink something without being charged the "coperto". They have a lot of typical Venetian fried appetizers that cost around €2.50-€3 each, such as mozzarella a carrozo, some are stuffed with anchovies, very delicious by the way, and another with York ham, as well as octopus salpicón, fish and other dishes. The drink is also very well priced compared to other places for being located in a central location.

Reference rotisserie in Rialto. Small but with great food
