The quality of the food is excellent. I've been going there since I was little with my parents. The only problem is that the food at the bar has gotten a little too expensive; you basically pay for the dishes as if you were being served in a restaurant, and the quantity is also meager. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars. The prices of the tramezzini and mozzarella in carro are in line with market prices. Despite this, it remains a must-visit in Venice for me; the ingredients used are top-quality.

I cannot believe the quality and price of the food. During the busy hours you may have to fight for a table. But, every single bite makes every minute you wait worth it. The mozzarella in carrozza with anchovies was absolutely phenomenal. The spaghetti with clams is something you cannot miss. This is not a tourist trap. This is just great food. Thank you.

I think it's impossible to give a negative review to a place that's always packed with people eating. Everyone knows it because they've stopped by at least once in their life, or gone there on purpose to eat something. Everything is well-cooked, hot, tender, tasty... There's nothing more to add; you just have to come in and order what you like.

Mozzarella in carrozza was worth it and was nice and big.
The starters were also generous.
We didn't have much of a queue, the staff was helpful, and there was a huge selection.
Very good and recommended.

We've known Gislon for practically forever. There was a time, some time ago, when unfortunately the only "good" thing that remained was the name, a reminder of times gone by. Now, however, something seems to have happened, perhaps a change in management? Well, the other evening, even though it was almost closing time, with great "intelligence and professionalism," they made us the "famous" mozzarella freshly made, and they were... delicious, super-stuffed, and huge. Finally, this bodes well for everything else as well... welcome back, old Gislon! Advice to the staff: remember that you don't just work with tourists... ;-)

A go-to place for a quick spuncion, the mozzarella in carrozza is excellent, always fresh and made to order. The tables are small, but we're in Venice.
