Savory restaurant In Cagliari

The restaurant is very elegant, the service a little slow, we had to wait at least 30 minutes before the only waiter came to take the order. We had a pleasant dinner overall. My pasta dish stood out — it was not only very tasty but also quite unique in flavor and presentation, which I really appreciated. My wife’s pasta, while good, felt more conventional and didn’t leave much of an impression. The starter we shared was excellent, well-prepared, and full of flavor — definitely a highlight of the meal. As for dessert, it was both creative and delicious, a perfect way to end the evening. However, the service could use some improvement. While the staff was polite and helpful when they were available, there clearly weren’t enough servers to keep up with the number of tables. This led to longer-than-expected wait times between courses and a bit of a disjointed dining experience. The prices were on the higher side, which would have felt more justified with slightly more attentive service and consistency across all the dishes. Still, it was an enjoyable experience, especially for those looking to try something a bit different.

Found randomly A very beautiful place We were able to taste the famous mullet bottarga. The dishes are fabulous And the tiramisu to finish the meal is exceptional, creamy....the best. And a Chablis to accompany it all. A divine meal served wonderfully.

Il giudizio è la media esatta tra la qualità del cibo davvero elevata e la mancata/finta cortesia del personale. Preciso: alla chiamata per la prenotazione richiedo espressamente se posso portare con me un cagnolino di piccola taglia (pinscher), mi viene risposto "nessun problema". Ci accomodiamo e la cameriera ci fa notare però che il cagnolino poco si abbina con i divanetti in velluto (sui quali è salito istintivamente una sola volta, peraltro sopra un nostro cappotto, e subito da noi fatto scendere) perchè potrebbe lasciare dei peli, invitandoci dunque a portare fuori il cane. Obbediamo controvoglia perchè era una tavolata e non potevamo abbandonare il pranzo nè rovinarlo agli altri commensali, se fossimo stati da soli ovviamente ce ne saremmo andati subito. Il tutto per dire che il "pet friendly" non è un marchio acchiappa-prenotazioni, ma dovrebbe essere poi rispettato nella pratica. Peccato davvero, perchè il cibo era buono, ma per ovvi motivi non torneremo mai più.

A pleasant discovery, competent staff who were friendly and always smiling, for my personal tastes I would give an extra star for the wine list as I found a French wine that other restaurateurs don't dare, indisputable quality of the food, super well-kept place. Last note which gives further added value to the owners, a close-knit couple who work and bring their passion and tastes to the table, which can be a gamble but I feel like saying a gamble that if not taken you will stay at home. Well done, well done, Ps I wasn't paid for this review 😂
