Lovely place, but poorly heated (17.3°C), with one person taking care of everything, from welcoming guests to serving tables, etc. The food was good, but some of the ingredients were missing (cheese in the tagliolini). Overall, disappointing compared to the bill.

I don't feel like saying I had a bad experience. A little disappointed. Below my expectations.

A special thanks goes to Ermanno, the owner, who welcomed us with elegance and passion, guiding us throughout the meal with great passion and warmth. It's rare to find someone who so successfully combines expertise, friendliness, and a love for their work. An experience to remember and definitely one to repeat. Chance brought us to this restaurant for lunch. Three friends, no one expected such a place. We were blown away, first by the spectacular location, but above all by their cuisine. We tried the agnolotti, the pork in a crust, and the dessert (a chocolate sphere), all of which far exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back; it was a fantastic experience.

Truly a beautiful place to stay. We spent August 15th here with a delicious tasting menu. But the location really makes the difference.

Sasseo restaurant is located in Sasseo 3, in Santa Maria della Versa, in the province of Pavia. Here they serve organic Pavia cuisine in a beautiful 18th century farmhouse, renovated but left entirely in rustic style with exposed stone. Here we also find a beautiful garden and a good wine cellar. The location is truly enchanting with a breathtaking view of the Oltrepo Pavese hills. Surrounded by beautiful vineyards and there is a good fleet of cars at no cost. Among their dishes we find...herb risotto with robiola mousse...appetizers...roast in a crust with carrot flan...amatriciana and pecorino fondue...eggplant-filled gnocchi...creamed cod...turbot fillet...tortelli...Taggiasca olives...rabbit...mushrooms...and excellent meats including fillet. Accompanied by good wines and excellent desserts...I assure you that an evening here for dinner is something truly unique...and for lunch with this view what more could you want...I assure you that it is worth trying.
