06/09/2025: We're in Piazza Mondello, and we made a reservation. It's a summer Saturday evening. We thought we wouldn't find a table, but there were tables available (this should have given us pause). But when you're in good company, all you think about is having a pleasant evening. As soon as we're seated, the waiter arrives and invites us to look at the menu on a QR code—a practical thing, but it distracts attention from the prices. We ordered and asked for house wine. The quality of the food was excellent, the portions weren't very generous. The real surprise came on the bill: a bottle of house wine cost €25. Next time, if there's one, only water (tap 😉). It's a shame, I would have given it 5 stars!
