Esperienza iconica e indimenticabile ad Agrigento. Per chi ama la cucina tipica siciliana ma soprattutto ricerca prodotti di alta qualità. I sapori di Girgenti peró non è solo questo: è socialità, è uno scambio di storie e di sorrisi, è condivisione, famiglia. Una splendida casa con giardino a pochi minuti dalla Valle dei Templi si trasforma nel ristorante più familiare, intimo e soprattutto tipico che la città possa offrire. Patrizia, regina della cucina, e Luigi, cantastorie professionista (non solo ovviamente), fin da subito molto disponibili, ci hanno accolto con grande simpatia raccontandoci di come è nato questo progetto bellissimo e introducendoci agli altri ospiti. Una volta seduti a tavola, è cominciata la magia. Una serie infinita di piatti della tradizione (4 antipasti, 2 primi, 2 secondi, 1 contorno, granita): uno più buono dell’altro e cucinati alla perfezione. Top 3 piatti preferiti: sarde a beccafico, sarde marinate e spaghetti al pesto di basilico e pomodoro. Atmosfera piacevole, serena e rilassata. Sicuramente è un posto di cui godere se si è persone socievoli. Scambiarsi racconti e idee è parte fondamentale di questo viaggio. Ogni portata viene accompagnata da un vino e a fine pasto viene servito l’amaro. Consigliatissimo. Sicuramente ritorneremo, curiosi di provare un altro menù e chissà, magari un dolce preparato proprio da Patrizia. Prezzo giusto per la quantità di piatti, l’abbondanza, l’ospitalitá e la location.

Iconic and unforgettable experience in Agrigento. For those who love typical Sicilian cuisine but above all seek high quality products. However, the flavors of Girgenti are not just this: it is sociality, it is an exchange of stories and smiles, it is sharing, family. A splendid house with a garden a few minutes from the Valley of the Temples is transformed into the most familiar, intimate and above all typical restaurant that the city can offer. Patrizia, queen of the kitchen, and Luigi, a professional storyteller (not only of course), immediately very helpful, welcomed us with great kindness, telling us how this beautiful project was born and introducing us to the other guests. Once we sat down at the table, the magic began. An infinite series of traditional dishes (4 starters, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, 1 side dish, granita): one better than the other and cooked to perfection. Top 3 favorite dishes: beccafico sardines, marinated sardines and spaghetti with basil and tomato pesto. Pleasant, serene and relaxed atmosphere. It is definitely a place to enjoy if you are a sociable person. Exchanging stories and ideas is a fundamental part of this journey. Each course is accompanied by a wine and bitters are served at the end of the meal. Highly recommended. We will certainly return, curious to try another menu and who knows, maybe a dessert prepared by Patrizia herself. Fair price for the quantity of dishes, the abundance, the hospitality and the location.

Oltre alla buonissima cucina casalinga e alle interessanti storie legate ai piatti e alla tradizioni è il clima familiare e gioviale a dare quel qualcosa in più all'esperienza! Our family spent a month in Italy, visited Michelin restaurants and other places highly recommended by Rick Steves and others, and THIS WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE BY FAR. Do not miss this! If you are reading this review and wondering whether you should rearrange your travel plans to do this, the answer is YES. The food was varied and fantastic, the portions were enormous, the hosts were welcoming, and the overall experience was amazing. We had dinner (no class) and Patrizia cooked a series of traditional Sicilian dishes (we tried one of the seafood menus). Salvo helped as translator and Luigi played class clown / professor the entire time. We laughed, we cried, we would do it all over again in a heartbeat. You will get into this what you put in: arrive ready to interact, to chat, to make friends, to learn.
