Lovely place, rooms suitable for those who move a lot and use the room as a base. Some difficulty with the car, but possible alternative solutions. Very good price.

Eravamo di ritorno da Roma, reduci dell'ultima puntata di domenica in della zia Mara. Abbiamo fatto sosta a Benevento con cena presso l'osteria di Sapore di corte, gestita dall'esperto Cristian con la sua equipe. Abbiamo cenato a dir poco divinamente con pietanze particolari costernate da una professionalità e gentilezza. La specialità è il baccalà servito in tutte le varie pietanze ma, oltre al baccalà c'è di tutto. Sicuramente a breve ci torneremo anche di mezzogiorno per degustare le specialità preparate dalla cucina altamente professionale.

Se siete alla ricerca di un'autentica esperienza culinaria nel cuore di Benevento, l'Osteria Sapori di Corte è una tappa imperdibile. Questo accogliente ristorante è situato in una delle suggestive vie del centro storico a due passi dal corso principale, vicinissimo a Santa Sofia. I piatti sono preparati con ingredienti locali di alta qualità. ll titolare e chef Lorenzo, è cordiale e disponibile, pronto a spiegare ogni piatto con passione e a consigliare le migliori combinazioni di vino. Lorenzo fa sentire ogni ospite speciale. Ci ritorno con tanto piacere se mi trovo di nuovo a benevento. Grazie, Lorenzo!

15/09/2025: The ice cream is high quality and there are many flavors to choose from. The staff is very friendly and fast. Prices are reasonable.
27/08/2025: Gioelia's gelateria is one of the best-known in Benevento and is centrally located on the main street. The gelato is excellent; I recommend trying the "mascarpone con profumo di strega" (mascarpone with Strega scent), the city's signature liqueur.

Trattoria Stella Majuri

27/09/2025: A welcoming and simple place. The food is also simple but very good. It's a trattoria, and it would be intellectually dishonest to expect anything else. The staff is sincere, and the owner is extremely helpful. There were 40 of us there to celebrate a 25th wedding anniversary.
17/08/2025: I had lunch there with my family. I searched for and chose the place because I'm celiac, so I was worried they wouldn't like it, but everyone was very satisfied with the quality of the food. The portions were unexpectedly generous (and the bill was a pleasant surprise!), but despite that, they happily polished it off. As a celiac, I also ate a huge amount of good food. A special mention for Maria, the young woman who served us the entire time: very gracious, sweet, and kind. The place gave us a welcoming and familiar feeling. The bathrooms were clean and smelled fresh. Outside, there's a large, very relaxing green area. We'll be back.
