The decor isn't to my taste; it's minimal and retro, but not overly bold.
Meals are sparse and lack cutlery rests.
The open kitchen is beautiful, but only one chef wore a hat, despite everyone having long hair.
During lunch, a chef came back and forth from the kitchen several times with exposed cuts of meat in a steel bowl.
For appetizers, Roman-style tripe and pumpkin in various textures.
Tripe with acidic tomato sauce, despite the pecorino cheese, was bland and flavorless.
The pumpkins were well-cooked, but I found no harmony in the dish; each texture was an end in itself and didn't connect with the others.
Next, the amatriciana was decent, the carbonara was very good, creamy and well-seasoned, the rigatoni were perfectly cooked, and the plin pasta was very interesting, although I didn't fully appreciate the flavor of the ossobuco filling.
Finally, the panettone with chantilly and the maritozzo filled with chantilly.
The leavened products of both were interesting, but the cream was truly awful, so flavorless and heavy with cream that it covered and ruined the flavors.
The price was in line with the offerings.
The service was friendly and professional, but the wait for the main courses was very long.
More than half an hour for the appetizers and about 40 minutes for the first courses.
The desserts arrived quickly.
In conclusion, the meal fell far short of expectations.
Of the medium-high-end Roman trattorias I've tried so far, I consider this one of the worst in terms of taste and perceived quality.

Food was good, the place is really cool and modern, run by young chefs and servers, but it feels like they definitely don’t want tourists around there. Staff were inpatient and a bit rude, and feeling welcomed is an essential part of a gastronomical experience, at least for me. Not even asking for hospitality, just a smile and some patient to explain the dishes would be much appreciated. I understand the protective behavior but we were acting normal, just like any other local client. The blonde waitress specially was very very rude to us.
The wine menu is HUGE, maaaaaany options and the Sommelier felt like a nice guy. If you like great wine and more edgy contemporary food, go.

The experience was positive overall, but it fell a bit short of my (high) expectations. This was especially true regarding the minimal table setting (there's not even a cutlery rest, and the cutlery isn't changed after each course) and the staff, whom I found almost annoyed by our presence. The dishes were truly delicious, but I felt they needed a little more explanation and presentation. In fact, our curious questions were answered in a sketchy and unkind manner. It's still a trattoria, but given the prices, I expected a different level of attention.

We've been to this restaurant twice now, and each time was more memorable than the last. The service is excellent, the staff is super friendly, and the food is excellent, with constantly updated dishes. I recommend trying the amatriciana and their maritozzo, which are truly delicious.
I'll definitely be back because I was more than satisfied. I recommend it to everyone.

An excellent restaurant where you can try some traditional Roman cuisine with a contemporary rock twist. Don't miss the tiramisu, one of the best I've ever had.
