Well done, good and beautiful! Well done because the service was impeccable. Good because the cuisine represents an excellence, in my opinion, Italian. Beautiful because, beyond the presentation of the dishes, which were eaten with the eyes (… and not only) also the place was very beautiful, welcoming and well-kept. Personality and character in a place that combines tradition and innovation, words too often used but in this case are obligatory.

The environment of this restaurant is welcoming and those who wait at the tables KNOW what they are bringing to the table (hard to find nowadays)
The omelette is fine but perhaps a little heavy to put it in the starter. The heart is excellent, carbonara for my tastes was very good, I underline "for my tastes" because I don't recommend it to those who don't like it with plenty of cream. What you see was half a portion because we are divided there. For the rest the place is super vintage and youthful. Excellent guys! <3

Young and refined environment. Upon entering the restaurant at first glance, you would think you had arrived in an ordinary trattoria, but looking carefully, everything has been placed where it is specifically to (re)create the simple environment of a trattoria. You can already discover from the menu that simple is not the right adjective for the cuisine: some dishes are traditional, others are revisited with a new touch. We took the meatball stuffed with oxtail and the omelette with chicken rigaje as appetizers (their flagship): both dishes were very good, portions were also right for sharing. We then continued with a traditional Roman first course, a carbonara and an amatriciana. Both dishes prepared to perfection. It's probably not the best carbonara I've ever eaten in Rome, but the raw materials with which it is prepared make it an excellent evergreen. The portions here are also right. We then had a dessert to share, a slice of Sacher which did not leave us dissatisfied. If I were to make a note on the menu, I might find something to say about the choice of desserts. They push for their flagship, a bowl of burnt wheat with vanilla ice cream. It certainly looks very good, so we didn't take it but we saw it at the next table and it would probably be worth tasting.
What actually left me a little taken aback, although the place itself, as I said, is refined and gives you a sense of conviviality, I found some things that were out of place (my personal opinion) and they are: a beer tap placed there at the entrance without art or part which is a little out of place with all the furniture. Second and last thing, the wooden table, a nice idea to recall the style of the old Roman trattoria but it is hateful to feel the stickiness certainly due to the cleaning products and not to the poor hygiene of the place. The latter is my personal note which goes beyond the overall judgment of the food and the place itself. I hope that it can actually be a piece of advice to make the coffee table comfortable even for those who pay attention to these details.
A final note on the price: it's true that we bought a bottle of wine for €40 (very good, by the way), but spending €30 each for a dinner is definitely good, especially if you think about the quality of the food you eat. You definitely won't leave the table hungry. Excellent, truly recommended!

We've wanted to come here for a long time and we took advantage of Valentine's Day to do so. All fantastic, traditional dishes but revisited in a modern way, delicious and at an excellent price. We will definitely be back.

Discovered thanks to the reviews, I must say that expectations were met. Small menu but the dishes are excellent with quality ingredients. Attentive and discreet service. Honest prices. Reservation is mandatory (there are not many seats)

Ho desiderato molto cenare in questo ristorante, viste le molte recensioni positive lette. Prenotare non è semplice, anzi direi abbastanza complicato, non c’è un numero di telefono ma solo un calendario e una mail per contattare il ristorante.
Il locale piccolo, una tipica trattoria di quartiere, con cucina “a vista” con finestra sulla sala, e noi eravamo seduti proprio sotto questa finestrella. È da lì che ho visto che l’acclamata chef proprietaria del ristorante…non era presente! Grande delusione per me, che ero venuta apposta!!!
La cucina non ha comunque deluso, con piatti della tradizione ben riproposti (carbonara perfetta, meno l’amatriciana) e alcuni guizzi di originalità non proprio riuscitissimi (indivia con nocciole e una marmellata un po’ pesante per i miei gusti)
Buono il maritozzo di grano arso, ma era caldo e con la panna che si scioglieva …non andava bene.
Insomma bene ma non benissimo. Non tornerò.
