Attention and friendliness are a great start to a lunch. The dishes offered included oxtail meatballs with peanut sauce (what can I say?), and then of course, Rigatoni Carbonare and a maritozzo to finish.
The dishes were delicious, carefully prepared, and beautifully served.
The wine cellar was well-stocked and the selections were excellent. Even the tables next to ours were SUPER satisfied.
I'd say: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
The price is reasonable for the location.

Best to make a reservation, even weekday lunch sittings are fully booked, but there is a social table with 8 seats for walk in diners. We arrived at 12:30 when it opened and got seats but many people were turned away.
Food is elegantly prepared with new and traditional tastes. The pork neck was perfectly cooked and tender with a tasty crust. Simply delicious.
Although a fan favorite, I found the oxtail meatball to be too heavy and salty. The accompanying sauce was thick and nutty, not a good match for such a dense dish. I wish they served it with a tangy sauce or some crunchy or fresh element.
Service was brisk and attentive. Really nice staff. This is an excellent place to dine if you want to get away from the tourist traps in Rome, it’s not far from the Coleseum but requires an Uber ride.

Absolutely fantastic! We tried the carbonara and it was incredibly creamy and perfectly made, one of the best we’ve ever had. They also had a great selection of local beers, which paired so well with the meal. Cozy place, delicious food, and a really nice atmosphere. We left full and happy!

One of the best carbonara's you can have in Rome
Intriguing atmosphere, excellent music selection (I'd just turn the volume down a bit to make the experience even more comfortable for other customers), (almost) always attentive and friendly service, and some truly unique and exciting dishes. Fair price, in my opinion, for what we ordered and the setting (€120 for two appetizers, two first courses, two desserts, water, a bottle of wine, and two liqueurs). Well done!

Sarah Cicolini is now well-known and needs no introduction. We visited Santopalato's new location on Via Gallia. We had to reserve over a month in advance for a table for five, but it was definitely worth it. The service was extremely attentive, almost like a high-end restaurant (though some at my table would have preferred at least a paper placemat). Sarah is the queen of homemade pasta, and her carbonara is almost a must, although the ricotta-filled anolini in tomato water were spectacular. But the triumph was the main courses, with a spectacular beef dish and a pork dish that deserved a standing ovation. A special mention also goes to the cheeses—from a well-known Roman shop—but they're brilliant at putting them on the menu. A few words about the sommelier (ok, I'm biased): it's not easy to find such passion and expertise, with such good narrative skills that can please both experts and novices. In short, you have to go. It's true that it's not easy to find a table, but long live Sarah and her staff, and congratulations on their work!!!

Auf jeden Fall reservieren. Klassiker aus der mittelitalienischen Küche neu und kreativ interpretiert. Das Highlight war Meeräsche, mit Leber-Majo und gebackenem Hirn. Aber auch für die nicht so wagemutigen aus meiner Familie gab es tolle Speisen. Gute Auswahl an Natural Wines und Weinen von kleinwn Produzenten (gute Beratung).
