Santo Falafel In Firenze

Delicious falafel. Had a truly wonderful meal here!

If you're looking for authentic, quick, and tasty street food in San Frediano/Santo Spirito, this little corner of the Middle East is definitely worth a stop. The place is simple, focused on substance and fresh ingredients. I tried their Pita Falafel (€7.50) and was thoroughly satisfied: the falafel are expertly made, the salad is incredibly fresh, and the mix of hummus, tahini, and mint is superbly balanced. The size is also noteworthy; the portion is nice and large and perfectly filling without weighing you down. To finish on a sweet note, I tried the Baklava. They were good, although it's a matter of personal taste: I found them a bit drier than the very wet and sugary syrupy version I usually prefer. Still, they're a pleasant end to a meal. Overall, a highly recommended place for a quick lunch or a casual dinner, with excellent value for money for the center of Florence. I will definitely be back to try the combo platters or their special hummus.

Delicious. One major flaw, however: the price. For simple piadinas or hummus (blended chickpeas, costing 20 cents), they charge a fortune. I repeat, the food is really good. But the prices aren't justified.

A truly special and unique place. Delicious flavors and authentic dishes, top-quality food. Excellent, relaxing atmosphere with super-friendly staff. There's no other place like it in Florence. Highly recommended.

Very cute vegan restaurant. Food was superb. Awesome drink choices as well...kombucha, etc. Highly recommend!

The place isn't large, but it's very charming and well-maintained. You have to read the menu, pay, and wait your turn. There's no table service. The food is very good; it's an absolute must-try culinary experience. The falafels are a must!!! For €20 per person, you can eat well.
