Dream hotel in the paradise of Alpe di Siusi

First of all: unfortunately you can't write two reviews about the same hotel, so here's a new one: I'm currently spending my last evening at the Hotel Santner. I wouldn't have expected it but there was an increase compared to the previous year. The “little haha”, (the room is a great size) double room was recently renovated in a very stylish manner with attention to detail. It has charm and still exudes coziness. The balcony offered a fantastic view in the morning and evening. The location of the hotel is a dream for skiers and hiking enthusiasts. Now to what makes the hotel special for me. The staff and the hosts, I would like to highlight the reception. Super understanding of problems big and small. No matter who you talk to... the room staff... the friendly drivers, the waiters or the family... there was never the feeling that you were being disturbed. People really live here so that their guests should be satisfied. The food leaves nothing to be desired and my special requests (a lot of side dishes were canceled) were also implemented. You don't like something? No problem, we'll do something different. There's nothing left for me to say other than thank you for the lovely, relaxing time.

We were there 2 weeks ago and love it! From the warm welcome to the excellent service and the fantastic food, we give it full marks. Thanks to Andrea and Maurizio and the boss, but also to Marek and the Gabloner family. We felt extremely comfortable. Great rooms, very tastefully decorated, very nice wellness area with an unbeatable pool. The food left nothing to be desired, first-class products and a great selection both at breakfast and in the evening menu, as well as great wines and good advice from the sommelier. Everything is just right with you! We'll definitely see each other again.

Update 2025: We have now been here four times. And we were thrilled four times. After renovation it looks even more beautiful. Important: the chef Christian is still there and enchants the guests with his culinary creations. Btw. The New Year's Eve party was great and we'll be back here next year (if everything works out). Original post 2019: We (family with 2 boys) spent this year's carnival holiday in Santner - and have to say that it was a hit. Great location right on the slopes but still just after Compatsch, rooms with a view of the Platt and Sassolungo duo, great innkeepers, super nice and courteous service, brilliant chef who totally spoiled us with his cuisine, outdoor pool with a fantastic view Sciliar, wellness, fitness room, house dog, everything you could want for your vacation. We'll definitely be back.

Our stay at the Hotel Santner was truly unforgettable! We were welcomed with great cordiality, and immediately felt pampered in every detail. The common areas are modern and tastefully furnished, and the large windows give a splendid feeling of continuity with the outside, completely immersing you in the surrounding panorama. The girls at the reception are very nice in their ways and know how to put customers at ease with professionalism and an always ready smile. The barman is a true master, capable of personalizing each preparation with a unique and creative touch. The dining room staff also proved to be professional, attentive and always available, contributing to impeccable service. The cuisine surprised us with dishes that were not only delicious but also beautiful to look at, with desserts that we would define as incredible and a simply amazing breakfast buffet, full of every delicacy. The rooms far exceeded our expectations: elegant, comfortable and, in many cases, with breathtaking views that leave you speechless. For skiers, the hotel's location is a true paradise: directly on the slopes, with a perfect shuttle service to reach the cable car and the point to obtain the ski pass in total convenience. In summary, Hotel Santner offers a very high level experience that combines comfort, beauty and attentive service with attention to every detail. We can't wait to return!

I stayed there at the end of August. The hotel is located in a splendid position to be able to go out comfortably on foot and start your treks without using the car. Very well kept, modern and clean facility. The staff is always available and very helpful for every need. Good cuisine and vast buffet at dinner. The jewel in the crown of the property in my opinion is the spa! Swimming pool and sauna with breathtaking views! You cannot miss out on a wonderful massage in the wellness center with the manager who manages it, highly trained and with a lot of experience in her sector. Will be back soon!!!

Cenato in questo locale molto carino e mangiato un'ottima pizza. Buonissimo l impasto ed anche gli ingredienti mi sono sembrati di prima qualità. Ottimo anche lo strudel con la vaniglia. Sia la pizza che lo strudel erano abbondanti. Personale gentilissimo . Bellissima anche la stanza con esposte le fotografie di Fabian Dalpiaz. Prezzi ottimi, per nulla cari. Consigliatissimi se passate da quelle parti.

Very nice hotel, great staff and very tasty food. You just have to be aware that you are on the Alpe di Siusi and can only drive up and down by car until 10 a.m. or from 5 p.m. Alternatively, you would have to take the train down. This is a bit inconvenient on rainy days when you want to go on trips to other places.
