Santantonioresort In Riposto

We just spent a week there during the fall break. The complex is very well-maintained and modernly furnished. We had an apartment with our children consisting of a living room with a kitchenette and sofa bed, as well as one bedroom. Everything was very clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchenette had pots and enough dishes, so we could even whip up a snack now and then. However, we suspect we are among the rare guests who take advantage of it... 😉 Since there were four of us, we would have preferred a closet instead of the open clothes rack. But we just managed to fit everything in our suitcases... For more than a week, it would have been too small for the four of us... The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. We also booked breakfast with our apartment. It was always very plentiful, and you could reorder anything if you were missing something. You could make your own juice, which we used every day. Besides sausage and cheese, there were also various egg dishes and bacon. Since the complex is very small, you don't have to wait in long lines at the buffet. Everything was very tasteful! We went outside for breakfast whenever possible. Then you can sit in the sun with a wonderful view of the sea.

Superb hotel, with sea view, very quiet, and well maintained, good bedding, with private parking. Full breakfast. The hotel restaurant is very classy, ​​for a late dinner, we ate very well there, with reasonable prices. Welcome and services at the top. Perfect for our 2 days (visit to Taormina and Etna).

A very beautiful house right on the sea. The other side has a view of Mount Etna. The rooms are very modern. Everything is top-notch. You feel at home here. You sit on the terrace in the morning and have a delicious breakfast. All rooms have a balcony. Very quiet. Great outdoor area. The town is within walking distance. A beautiful oasis. After 14 days in this special hotel, I would happily give it 10 stars. The staff was always very attentive and friendly. Thanks to the friendly waiter, Lucca, who fulfilled our every culinary wish. We were also very well looked after by the friendly staff at breakfast in the morning. And a big thank you to Antonio for the wonderful day at Etna. We came as guests, left as friends.

Wonderful little hotel, off the main tourist areas. Immaculately looked after, lovely grounds and very clean everywhere. Great, friendly welcome and service from the staff and owners. The rooms are spacious and have outstanding views - looking out over the Mediterranean with views over to Calabria on one side (plus beautiful sunrises); and looking out over the lovely pool and gardens to a panoramic view of the majestic Etna on the other side (with some great sunsets). Every view a winner! About a 20-25 minute walk into Riposto, and then further for decent restaurants. A couple of restaurants slightly closer in Torre Archirafi but not always open and looked a bit tired. Definitely one for the more energetic or more likely those with a car. Perfectly placed for day trips to Taormina, Naxos and indeed further afield along the east cost, as well as those wanting an Etna trip - without the tourist crowds and definitely feels much more real Sicily in Riposto town. Food in the restaurant is excellent - very tasty and a good choice on the a la carte (the Bar Lunch menu is more limited but you can ask for a la carte). The spaghetti salmone with pistachio was especially delicious. Service is excellent. One small improvement would be to add tea & coffee-making facilities in the room but otherwise no complaints at all. We were made to feel very welcome and were very comfortable. Oh, and the pool is wonderful - made to blend in with the scenery and in some well-tended gardens and enough beds by the pool for every single guest regardless of occupancy. A wonderful stay!

Nice hotel, great restaurant and great staff - only challenge is the drive to it.

Yesterday I stayed at this seaside resort. It boasts a refined location, services that make guests feel at home, and an enchanting location with a view of the sea and Mount Etna. An oasis of peace, with a beautifully landscaped swimming pool nestled in the greenery of the park behind the main building. The real surprise was lunch: exceptional dishes, fresh, high-quality products, and attentive and knowledgeable wait staff. For these experiences, SAR gives an overall rating of 8.

The property is impeccable to say the least! Everything is clean and tidy, and above all stylish, with a professional and friendly welcome. The most beautiful features, in my opinion, are the grounds, which include a wonderful pool reminiscent of a natural lake, the vast array of exotic plants and flowers, and the spectacular seafront promenade in front of the resort! The rooms are beautiful and super clean, and finally, the restaurant is excellent. In short, it's so beautiful that I've already been there twice and will return again.

Seit meiner Reise ab Neapel habe ich rohen Fisch in verschiedensten Varianten probiert – dieses Erlebnis war mit Abstand das Beste. Höchste Qualität, zart, aromatisch und wunderschön angerichtet. Auch der frittierte Oktopus auf Orangenscheiben war ein absolutes Highlight – außen knusprig, innen zart, perfekt abgestimmt mit dem Dip. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Service: Unsere Kinder wurden ganz selbstverständlich nach ihren Wünschen gefragt – und es wurden extra Gerichte zubereitet, die nicht einmal auf der Karte standen. So aufmerksam und herzlich erlebt man das selten. Ein Tisch für morgen ist bereits reserviert. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Wer Fisch auf Top-Niveau und echten Service schätzt, ist hier genau richtig.
