The bruschetta I had as an appetizer was very good, the spaghetti all'assassina was good (even if not very spicy 😂).

The Assassina is good! Highly recommended! There were four of us, and we also had fries, a burger, and the baba with cream for dessert. Everything was good, but I'd still recommend the Assassina. There's also a wide selection of beers. The waiters are all very helpful and friendly. Overall, a great experience.

A really nice little place! I went there for lunch with some friends and we had a great time. The service is fast, perfect for those short on time, and the staff is very friendly. The prices are a little higher, but in line with the city average. The sandwiches and pasta dishes are excellent, especially the spaghetti all'assassina, which is their strong point. I highly recommend it!

First lunch in Bari, we stopped here because from the outside it looked like a nice and welcoming place. We ordered the famous spaghetti all'assassina, revisited with the addition of pumpkin and crispy bacon (only 2 pieces of bacon per plate, and not even crunchy). They said you can't order for just one person, but at least for 2 people, so we ordered two dishes (good but small portions and a high price of 16 euros each). We also ordered the orecchiette with ragù, which was a real disappointment because not only was the portion small, but it was topped with ready-made ragù from the supermarket, which also cost 14 euros. Mini portions of chips with cheese fondue and Peppe were 7 euros. I recommend it for the food, but I wouldn't recommend it for the price and small portions 👍👎.

A bit of a contradiction here. An Italian bistro, if such a thing can exist. The pasta is average; I'd call it "baby orecchiette." Besides the flavor of good-quality tomatoes, there's no salt. Such heritage and a lack of skill reduce it to subpar pasta with a mediocre tomato sauce. Pulled pork in a cold roll makes you want to start without it. The coleslaw and the entire nomenclature of that roll are good meat, good salad, good sauce, and that's it, but even that's broken here. In the internet age, it's worth checking out and learning. The wine is okay, the service is nice, as is typical in Italy, the place is empty, and the locals come in, and they don't give a damn about you... :) If you happen to be there, you can eat there, but I wouldn't recommend this place for the simple reason of below-average price/quality. The atmosphere is okay for just wine and a snack, definitely not for dinner.
