I'd like to clarify, I'd like to refute the negative reviews of this restaurant, because it truly deserves a full 5 stars!!!! Let's start by saying that I truly ate divinely, the ingredients were exceptional, the fried food was perfect, and the artichokes alla giudia were truly the bomb! Let's move on to the location, a true corner of Rome between past and present, just 1 meter from Piazza Navona!!! A real gem. The owners, whom I met that evening (Nicola and Rinaldo), are two amazing people, the essence of Rome! Their friendliness and warmth were truly excellent, as were the waiters who served us. To conclude, I highly recommend this restaurant, and I also advise you not to read the reviews, which aren't valid! Congratulations again, guys, you made us have the most wonderful evening in Rome!! Overpriced for average food. Skip the lobster dish. Barely any lobster and you have to dig it out yourself for 40 euro.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant located conveniently less than a block away from Piazza Navona. We had the shrimp carpaccio, pici, the veal cheek, and the pear tart, which were all fabulous. This place definitely appears to be a favorite of well heeled locals. We were the only Americans and only English speaking patrons, which is typically a sign of quality when dinning in Italy. One of the best meals we've had while visiting Italy, and hands down the best in Rome. Thank you to the concierge who shared this gem of a restaurant with us.

A haven of peace in bustling tourist Rome. The terrace is delightful, and the food and service are excellent. Expensive? I didn't find it so for what we ate (and drank).
