The best pizza you can eat in the area. Very light, well-balanced, and made with high-quality ingredients. They offer a wide selection of pizzas, including gluten-free and/or lactose-free mozzarella options. Very friendly staff, and the service is fast and efficient. The restaurant and bathrooms are always spotless. I recommend it to anyone.

Excellent pizzeria with outdoor seating in a beautiful square. I ate there several nights, and even though it was always busy, the pizza was excellent and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended!

Gioia Jonica, historic center, completely renovated building, modern restaurant with appropriate references to the building's era, welcoming. I was there last night! Since the restaurant has a beautiful outdoor space, we ate outside in the beautiful town square, surrounded by the warmth of the celebration. A famous place, praised by my Calabrian acquaintances who claim to have eaten the best pizza in the area. Could it be!?!! But personally, I didn't find anything all that exciting. Let me start by saying: I don't like Neapolitan pizza; I prefer a crispier crust. At this place, the pizza is Neapolitan 🤪. So regardless, it wasn't to my taste... But I have to be honest, I feel like I am; the ingredients were good. I had a Santa Caterina white pizza, and the ingredients, starting with the uncooked raw ham, were truly delicious. The dough wasn't bad either, the crust was well-made, and there was just enough dough in the center to support the filling, even in the center. I would have preferred to hear it crunch a little under my teeth, but that's the original Neapolitan way! And tastes vary... A warm welcome, the waiters were efficient and on point. A few small mistakes, like carrying the beer glasses by the bowl, thus without a tray... Convenient for some of them, but annoying for the customer - "Warm up my beer like this!" A pleasant evening nonetheless, with no problems and the staff were courteous and polite. This is very important. Adequate price.

Good dough. Quality. Fast service. Tables in the square in the heart of Gioiosa. Beautiful. Flaw: Basil is added to the base of the red tomato. Therefore, those who hate it or are intolerant should not eat the red base pizza. It was not possible to get a white base with cherry tomatoes because even those are topped with basil. In short... more or less can be done in this case, and the basil should be added at the end perhaps.

Excellent pizzas served very quickly, excellent service, and the young waiter was very kind. 4 stars because I thought the dessert prices were above average, but the rest was enjoyed by all 20 people at the table. We'll be back! 😄

Siamo stati a cenare in questa pizzeria spinti dalle ottime recensioni il posto davvero particolare con i tavoli su una piazzetta adiacente ad una chiesa e devo dire che nel complesso abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, Impasto della pizza croccante e leggero buoni i fritti e soprattutto il dolce.Una sola nota negativa che è rivolta ad un cameriere che serviva ai tavoli, l'ho trovato molto arrogante nei confronti di alcuni colleghi, comportamento non consono in presenza di molti commensali.

Sono stata con amici in questa pizzeria in quanto invogliati dalle recensioni e infatti siamo stati lieti nel trovare una buona pizza ma purtroppo questo non basta per convincere un cliente, personalmente non credo di tornarci nuovamente. I prezzi sono leggermente più alti della media ma la pizza è buona e quindi può anche andar bene ma il servizio è assolutamente da rivedere. Uno dei camerieri che si è occupato del nostro tavolo svolge il proprio lavoro in maniera svogliata e disinteressata, sembra quasi infastidito da tutto e tutti al punto da non capire nemmeno cosa gli viene detto e infatti ha sbagliato la comanda. Ha mantenuto questo atteggiamento per tutta la serata, mi dispiace solo per l’altro cameriere che al contrario è cordiale e gentile ma mi duole dire che l’impegno di molti non compensa la strafottenza di quel solo cameriere che mette a disagio il cliente al punto da non volerci più tornare.
