A regular stop for lunch with friends, San Shi is always a great choice. The staff is super friendly and quick to process orders, and the dishes are meticulously prepared and well-executed, with a wide variety of choices. The place is beautifully decorated and clean, well-managed, and convenient to get to.

I'd say it could have been better. I'd start with the prices, which, given the same conditions and formula (all you can eat), seemed a bit higher than those applied elsewhere (I'm thinking of other similar restaurants in the province of Padua, without looking anywhere). I'd continue with the less-than-impressive courtesy of some of the staff; I'm referring in particular to the waiters 🧑🏻👩🏻, who were certainly nervous but at times even rude (slamming plates on the table and making obvious gestures of annoyance). I understand that working with the public is difficult, and that a packed restaurant can instill anxiety and apprehension in the staff themselves, but certain attitudes are annoying regardless (in any case, I make a partial "mea culpa" for not having tried the establishment on a quieter evening, perhaps during the week). Let's overlook the wrong dishes (pork slices 🐷 instead of fish 🐟) or portions that never arrived because everything was very good and well-cooked (so what did arrive was consumed without much ado). The parking lot was small and inadequate 🅿️ (but I obviously understand that miracles can't be worked in this regard). A final treat: when it came time to pay the bill, they didn't even offer us fortune cookies 🥠 (I initially thought they weren't used here, but once outside, I noticed the bin full of discarded packages). Let's hope things go better next time 😕. Menu and food very good, probably one of the best I ever had. A bit pricey but they do discounts sometimes.
