San Tarcisio In Roma

I had dinner at this restaurant last night. I'd been there in August and, having had a great time, chose it again. It's a great location, very quiet, and perhaps a little small, but it's well-used. The pizza is very good, as is the seafood salad I chose as an appetizer. The main courses were generous and inviting. Next time, I'll try the food. The menu offers a wide selection, including a wide selection of wines, and it's excellent value. The service is efficient, and the owner is very attentive to her guests' comfort and hospitality. If you're in Quarto Miglio and don't know where to eat, I highly recommend it.

Super tasty food and very friendly

Best meal we had in Rome! Near the walkable portion of Via Appia Antica (where you go by Seneca’s tomb). Delicious food. Seemed “locals only”. Friendly staff. Wry reasonable price.

We had dinner last night and were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff. The dishes were delicious, both the main courses and the pizzas. We'll definitely be back.

Update: I returned, and will do every time I'm here in town. Once again, every single thing was a delight! Adriana & her staff are the best! Top shelf! Original: This gem in the Appian Way area, just outside of the city center of Rome is pure delight. I ordered a lovely, robust glass of red to compliment my zuppa di pasta fagiole and lasagna. I'm in heaven.

There's not much to review. There are places for tourists and authentic ones. San Tarcisio is one of them. It has a traditional and varied menu with several off-menu items. It also offers seafood dishes and pizzas. A welcoming place. Fair prices.

A real discovery... Excellent pizza, first courses, and desserts, what we ordered. Beautiful and familiar place, with a great Sign (I think the owner) who makes you feel at home. We will definitely be back. Tip: create a smoky atmosphere!

Se hai avuto la sventura di partecipare ad un escape da Lucifer non mancare di rifarti la bocca al ristorante San Tarciso, semplice e accogliente. Il retro del ristorante si trova proprio difronte all’uscita dell’escape room Lucifer. Eravamo in 8 e nonostante il locale già fosse vuoto e stesse chiudendo ci hanno accolto carinamente e servito con professionalità e cortesia. Il menu è ricco di piatti romani. Le polpette fritte di bollito sono una squisitezza. La “vignarola” una piacevole scoperta. I primi abbondanti e ben conditi soddisfano anche i palati più esigenti. Gnocchi fatti in casa “da paura”! Le pizze ben cotte nel forno a legna sono leggere e ben lievitate. Il prezzo che rispecchia il brutto “andazzo” dei locali romani in cui una pizza può costare 13,00/15,00 euro … sembra un po’ elevato in rapporto alla location
