Pasta a little too raw (even for Roman standards) but good sauces, dishes lacking in quantity, prices high compared to what we consumed, nice environment.

While passing through Rome we stopped for lunch at this restaurant near Via Appia Antica. Very friendly staff; very very good starter, carbonara and amatriciana, very honest prices and absolutely in line. Highly recommended, we will be back.

I'm from Rome but I've lived in Vicenza for 10 years.... The place was recommended to me by a friend and I can only confirm that the food is good... The pizzas were also excellent and fried, then I ate the really delicious meatballs with sauce, I made the slippers with a special bread made by them... attentive service, very nice environment, applause to the kind waiter, who was thorough in his explanations of the dishes and friendly. At the end of the dinner, they offered us the delicious wine donuts. Honest price. Well done.

Typical and very welcoming trattoria in the heart of the IV mile district behind the Appia Antica. The owner Adriana is courteous with service and food up to the Roman tradition 👍🏻

Locale molto accogliente negli arredi, atmosfera familiare e confortevole, con un profumo di cibo buono misto a pulito. Ravioli, abbacchio, puntarelle, involtini: tutto eccellente! Torneremo di sicuro 😋

26/03/2025: It’s been a long time since I’ve been this satisfied with a plate of gricia—and Hostaria Menenio Agrippa absolutely nailed it. This place is the real deal: a proper, traditional Roman restaurant that delivers on every front. The carciofi alla giudia were perfectly done—crispy, tender, and full of flavour. Every dish we tried had that authentic Roman soul, with top-quality ingredients and careful preparation. On top of the food, the service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a genuine Roman dining experience, this place is a must.

12/04/2025: I've already been there twice, the first time I ate the pizza it was excellent this time I tried the fish super abundant fresh dishes and staff always available even if the place was full excellent experience I recommend it
