There's a real organizational problem in this restaurant... We ordered "escalope Milanese" with a green salad and got fries. The staff is just talking nonsense!!!

Between Turin and Nice, without much conviction, we stopped at this restaurant/chalet, but what a surprise! Very friendly service, pretty good food (especially the speck gorgonzola crepe), and very reasonable prices. €46 with 3 courses, water, coffee, and wine. There's a large parking lot and a large terrace at the foot of the mountains. It was perfect. A stop to remember! Not to be missed on the road; I highly recommend it.

It's a special place, with spectacular views and excellent service. Highly recommended if you come here. You can also sleep here. And the dinner we had was very reasonably priced.

The outside is typically mountain-style and modern, while the inside feels very old-fashioned! The food is good and varied (until a certain hour!), but the staff is incompetent and clumsy (2025): you have to ask for condiments, otherwise they'll bring tomatoes without salt or oil (!), and the same goes for the parmesan.

Bistrot San Chiaffredo

15/09/2025: A charming place, both for the restaurant itself and for the spectacular view of Monviso and its mountain range, recently run by a small group (four or five) of young people (all under 25, I'd say), who are capable, courteous, and, given the times, even courageous. The dishes we tasted, mostly traditional Piedmontese, were all highly appreciated for their quality, quantity, and even presentation, more reminiscent of a city restaurant than a mountain restaurant. What more can I say? Congratulations, and let's hope their courage and (undoubted) skill pay off. They deserve it.
03/09/2025: Young guys with great hopes, lots of stuff and then 80 meters away there is a beautiful sanctuary, worth going to, recommended
