Excellent puff pastry, the best in the area and personally that I have ever tasted, like the French one! Very friendly staff, they take care of the customer. Wide assortment of products.

Pastry shop with excellent quality products; their brioches for breakfast are a real treat: tasty and generous in both size and filling (particularly the one with raspberry and ricotta). The Maritozzi are also very pleasant: soft and light like a cloud. In general there is a vast selection of sweets, most of which enhance recipes and typical products of southern Italy (such as pasticciotti, the aforementioned Maritozzi, Sicilian cannoli, etc.). Prices consistent with what is proposed; quick and friendly service.

Too slow, very slow in service, otherwise the place is a little small and the food was excellent. It's a shame, if they improve the service we'll all gain a little.

San Michele Bar is a welcoming place in the heart of Padua, perfect for a breakfast or a sweet break. The environment is pleasant, with a well-kept and well-kept outdoor space, ideal for relaxing. We tried a traditional Maritozzo, with a soft and tasty cream, even if the dough was a little dry. The pain au chocolat had an excellent pastry, but the chocolate was almost non-existent, leaving a bit of a bad taste in the mouth (figuratively speaking!). The corn biscuit was good, even if there was a small mix-up at the time of the bill: the displayed price was 0.50 cents, but at the checkout it was priced at 0.70 cents. Probably a careless error, but it would be better to pay more attention. The staff was courteous and quick, and the prices were average, in line with what the place offers. In summary, San Michele Bar is an excellent choice for those looking for a nice and welcoming place in Padua. A few small flaws on the desserts and greater attention to the details at the checkout would make the experience perfect, but overall it is a place we would happily return to.

Siamo rimasti un po' delusi dalla nostra visita a questa pasticceria, che si propone come specialista dei prodotti tipici pugliesi. Nonostante l'aspetto accattivante sui social, dove i dolci e le prelibatezze sembravano invitanti e fresche, l'esperienza reale è stata tutt'altro che soddisfacente. L'aspetto che ci ha colpito negativamente è stato il prezzo: i prodotti sono decisamente troppo costosi rispetto alla qualità che offrono. Nonostante il nome e la fama di questo posto, non abbiamo trovato nulla che giustificasse i prezzi esorbitanti. I dolci, purtroppo, non avevano il sapore e la freschezza che ci aspettavamo, risultando più secchi e meno gustosi di quanto promesso nelle foto online. In sintesi, una grande delusione rispetto alle aspettative create dai post su Instagram, che sembrano aver costruito un'immagine ben lontana dalla realtà del prodotto e dell'esperienza complessiva. Non ci sentiamo di consigliare questa pasticceria, soprattutto considerando i prezzi troppo alti rispetto alla qualità effettiva.
