A legendary Foggia restaurant institution known throughout the city and even the province. We dined there on a Sunday evening in the restaurant's pleasant outdoor area. The excellent Emanuele, a lively and well-mannered young man, served us. We didn't order pizza, but rather two appetizers and two main courses. Both appetizers were excellent: peppered mussels with fava beans and chicory (although my opinion of the fava beans and chicory is biased by the fact that, not being from Foggia, I've only tried it two or three times). Next up was pancotto and pasta with pumpkin seeds, which were good but not exceptional. Babà with zabaglione cream and sour cherries was ATOMIC. To finish the meal, we ordered a limoncello that was advertised as homemade, but I wouldn't have sworn it was delicious; in fact, we didn't finish it. We ordered glasses of wine by the glass, excellent quality/quantity/price ratio. Basically, a place that doesn't need a review here or anywhere else; just go.

This isn't my first time dining here. Last night I came back for a reunion with old friends... and this time I dined as a celiac.
I won't deny that I was a little nervous and hesitant at first (I'm new to this world 😪), but when the dishes arrived, well, I was surprised. The evening featured a menu of various hot and cold appetizers, cured meats and cheeses, and fried foods, followed by pizza.
I was served:
- Tomato and arugula bruschetta
- Cured meats and cheeses
- Grilled vegetables
- French fries
- Pancotto with sausage
- Pizza of my choice. Everything was really good... the pizza surprised me, really good (only the tomato was bland 😅 they must have forgotten to add salt)... I couldn't finish it because I was full from the appetizer, but I took it home and ate it for lunch (reheated in the air fryer for 4 minutes 😃). It was delicious 😊.

The pizza is very good, but the "soft and thick" dough is a bit heavy compared to the classic Neapolitan pizza it's inspired by. The ingredients on the pizza are very good, in good quantities, and the pizza is quite large. The staff is helpful and friendly, but the cashier service could be improved, as it's a bit slow due to some inexperience on the part of some of the staff.

You can't come to Foggia and not eat at this restaurant. From the moment you enter to the moment you leave you feel at home. The food is exquisite, well prepared and the service is special. Compliments to the owner and his children.

This pizzeria is absolutely fantastic! The pizza is cooked to perfection, a unique flavor and the ingredients are always fresh. I like being able to choose the type if Bari or Neapolitan. The service is friendly and fast. A place not to be missed, especially for the cheesecake!!! 5 stars without a doubt!

Locale classico, ma saletta di fianco splendida per gruppi con bambini, personale cortese, antipasto misto ottimo, in tutte le portate, dal fritto ai salumi e formaggi, una chicca fave e cicorie strepitosi. La pizza buona ben condita un tantino pesante, unico appunto, la salsiccia sulla pizza non è piaciuta a nessuno, magari potreste provare una salsiccia diversa.
Comunque consigliatissimo per una cena ottima.
