A very beautiful restaurant in the center of Rome. The waiter Valerio who served us was excellent as was all the staff. The food was delicious. I would go again without a second thought. As I have visited in previous years.

The best food in Italy! Not to mention perfect service. My husband had the mushroom & sausage pizza, and I had the rigatoni with beef tail. We shared the most heavenly bowl of minestrone soup. Oh, and their bartender mixed up a spot-on daiquiri. We will return before we head back to the States. No doubt about it! I only wish I had been able to get a recipe for the soup!

Favorite meal I’ve had in Rome so far!!! Spaghetti alla carbona and tiramisu were PERFECT. Great atmosphere and loved sitting outside!

Despite the full boarding, the wait was about 15 minutes. Seafood pasta 10/10. There was a lot of different seafood, the squid was very soft. Nice price. Everything in the photo cost 30€

Great little place to have some traditional Italian food. Also the steak was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere, enjoyed our last meal of our trip here. Also make sure you get the cherry liquor at the end of the meal.

Very delicious food, we liked everything we ordered, although the price seemed a little higher than we expected. It's good in general.

We enjoyed our meal here and the service was great. They dealt very well with my husbands gluten intolerance and were able to advise him what to choose. The menu was clearly annotated too. It's is reasonably priced and we had a free cherry liquer shot. The desserts were good too. I've only given 4 stars as there weren't many vegetarian options on the menu.

Típico restaurante italiano .. auténtico y con clientela romana … merece mucho la pena .. pasta, melanzzane, pizzas todo rico y abundante .. precio justo .. recomendable

12/03/2025: Nice atmosphere, informal but well-kept. Nicely furnished place. Excellent typical Roman dishes, but also tasty ideas like the big baked potatoes with gorgonzola, pears and walnuts.
07/03/2025: The Cave has been a certainty for years! Excellent food and courtesy are always guaranteed. Excellent quality/price ratio. We can't wait to return!
