saltimbocca In Roma

We had dinner at this restaurant in Rome with my family, intrigued by the name Saltimbocca because I really wanted to try one... and I have to say, it didn't disappoint 😄 The first thing that struck us was the staff's incredible kindness, especially towards our son: for me, it was a great calling card. We had a truly delicious and fragrant pinsa margherita. The cacio e pepe was fantastic, so much so that I even mopped up the bread with it! The saltimbocca was simply the best. The restaurant also has some outdoor seating. Inside, it's quite spacious, although perhaps there are a few too many tables, which slightly limits the amount of space available. My only small disappointment: I didn't get to try dessert because the one I wanted was sold out. Prices are normal. The bathroom is accessible via stairs. Highly recommended 👍

Everyone was so friendly. They offered me cherry wine at the end. It wasn't anything special, but it felt good. I stopped by on my way back from a long Vatican tour. There were quite a few Asians, but I saw a lot of Westerners eating there too, so it seemed like a pretty good restaurant. I'd failed at vongole twice at other restaurants, so I tried it again near the end of my trip and it was fine. (Carbona tastes different in Korea, but vongole doesn't seem to taste the same, lol.) I ordered two pastas, so I also had thinly sliced ​​steak as a side dish, which was delicious. I didn't get to try the stew that everyone else was ordering, but it's not worth traveling far for, and it's worth stopping by if you're nearby. I always get wine by the glass recommendations at restaurants, and I was delighted to find the red wine that best suits my taste. (Sigh)

We booked online for New Year's Eve and immediately received a message via WhatsApp informing us that a menu would be available that evening, which was attached as a PDF. We confirmed our interest and were informed that we needed to make a deposit to secure the reservation. This was understandable, as we were booking from abroad. The menu was excellent; each course featured a variety of beautifully presented dishes on a plate. Everything tasted delicious.

Fantastic place where you can discover authentic local cuisine. The carbonara and tripe are amazing, and the dessert selection is incredible. The owner and waiters are very polite and make you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

Typical Roman dishes with great flavor, but like any place, the good thing is the non-stop service.

We're back for the second time, and this place is a sure thing. They even have gluten-free pasta, and the waiter is especially attentive in recommending dishes.
