My partner and I stumbled upon Sakura by chance, and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is small but very cute, well-kept, and family-run. It's nothing like the chaos of the big chains! It was a weekday lunch, and we opted for the basic all-you-can-eat menu for around €18. It's true that the selection isn't extensive, but the quality of the fish is noticeably superior to many larger restaurants. All the dishes were truly excellent, and the service was attentive. I'd classify it as a medium-high range sushi restaurant, which justifies the extra couple of euros for the basic menu. After all, quality comes at a price. I wouldn't have minded a little more choice, but to be honest, we ate very well and will definitely be back!

One of my favorite restaurants! Nowadays, when we're craving sushi, we think of Sakura. We discovered it by chance before the renovations... and we haven't changed since! Excellent food and super friendly and helpful staff.

A place that never disappoints. It's one of the few restaurants in Milan that takes nigiri sushi seriously. They use a lot of fish cooked through a seasoning method, rather than just slicing it for nigiri. This is because cooked fish has a better texture and a more complex flavor profile.

Sakura is a sushi restaurant in Sesto San Giovanni (here are other places we tried in Sesto) that opened in 2005 and recently expanded to include ayce/acetylene (AYCE) options.
The location is small but well-maintained, with comfortable seating and large windows that flood the space with natural light.
The service is managed by an Italian gentleman, apparently the husband of the owner of Asian origins. He's attentive, kind, and there's plenty of human interaction—unlike other places where dishes are often thrown at the table.
Sakura's uramaki selection (at least at lunch) isn't extensive, but rather simple. We did, however, appreciate the way the rice was cooked—which makes a difference—and the size of the rolls, which unfortunately come in eight pieces.
The experience at Sakura was very pleasant. The quality is superior to many other more renowned sushi establishments—in fact, it was a great discovery. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the only flaw being the slightly limited menu, which is why we give it 4 out of 5 stars.

It's been in Sesto San Giovanni for many years.
Good food.
They've added an all-you-can-eat option, with various options.
Prices are in line with restaurants of this type.
Highly recommended.

Always excellent and with perfect service. Best Japanese food ever. I just wish they'd replace the tablecloths or at least a runner.

The restaurant is very elegant.
The owner is kind and the service is impeccable.
The food, despite being an all-you-can-eat restaurant, is very well-prepared, and the owner never misses an opportunity to explain where the food comes from and how it's cooked.
So, in addition to the excellent food, we had a pleasant chat about the quality of the homemade gyoza and the special rice imported from... I don't remember where, and the fact that everything is cooked fresh.
Highly recommended restaurant.
