Recently renovated, excellent food

Given that I don't have many terms of comparison, as I might for Italian cuisine; In my opinion the food is of good quality, friendly staff, and a rich menu. I had seen some negative reviews and was changing my mind but in the end all was well. The service, although it could be improved, is also fast (it was a Sunday and the place was full). I'll be back.

The restaurant offers a welcoming and refined environment, with quality food at balanced prices. The grilled ravioli are excellent, with a tasty filling and perfect cooking. The miso, delicate and tasty, and the uramaki, with fresh ingredients, are also excellent. Too bad about the rice, not very aromatic and slightly dry.

Purtroppo nella mia città si segue la massa... non il proprio gusto o pensiero. Dopo l'inaugurazione di un'altro sushi restaurant a Matera, la gente ha iniziato ingiustamente a discriminare questo posto che ha fatto da riferimento in città da sempre. Personale sempre attento a fare bene, a migliorarsi. Chi non fà non sbaglia....e quando capita si rimedia: sono pronti a venire incontro alle esigenze del cliente ed a dimostrare la loro competenza. La qualità è pari, se non superiore, agli altri ristoranti di Matera e l'impegno dimostrato ad ogni incontro per soddisfare il cliente è davvero lodevole. Provate....valutate e giudicate. Mi trovavo e mi trovo benissimo in questo ristorante!!

Premesso che è la seconda volta che ci vado. La prima volta spinta da una coppia di amici ci sono andata e nonostante lo scetticismo iniziale per altre esperienze passate altrove, lo straconsiglio, sia per la cortesia del personale, per l'ottimo cibo, servizio impeccabile, pulizia ineccepibile, ambiente raffinato ma che non mette a disagio. Davvero una bellissima esperienza, da rifare e consigliare a tutti coloro che vogliono fare un viaggio nel gusto di una cultura millenaria. Grazie. Alla prossima!!!
