Sagami In Modena

Sagami is a Japanese restaurant different from the others, in fact the dishes on the menu refer to traditional Japanese cuisine based on ramen; ramen that is present in different formats and condiments (all the dishes are of excellent quality). Ultimately it is a restaurant absolutely recommended to those who love oriental cuisine and want to try something different from the most common proposals.

If you are looking for the usual rolls with avocado or salmon, or those with nori seaweed, you won't find them at Sagami. Here the menu focuses on more traditional Japanese dishes far from the usual all-you-can-it ones. The only flaw... at 10.45 they brought us the bill to say they were closing. ● WHAT I ATE: tempura prawns (crispy and dry), dry udon with prawns and spring onion, and a mini tart with lemon cream and whipped cream on top, very fresh. ● WHAT I DRINK: Kiring, a "drinkable" Japanese beer and water. ● PLACE: very nice, with well-spaced tables and a relaxed atmosphere. ● STAFF: everyone is very kind and smiling, present but never intrusive. ● PRICE: there were 6 of us and we all ate an appetizer, a first course, dessert, beer and water. We divided the bill equally and spent 35 euros each. ● TIP: better to book a little in advance. And pay attention to the time: they close at 11pm.

Excellent Japanese food, extensive menu and an environment that takes you to the East. Very friendly staff and fair prices.

Perhaps few waiters for the weekend inside the restaurant. A bit of an excessive wait but the ramen are very good. However I recommend it and would go back

Clienti abituali dalla apertura del locale, non ci ha mai deluso anzi ha ampliato il menù sempre eccezionale e a buon prezzo!

A Japanese restaurant that doesn't offer the usual all-you-can-eat "fake sushi". There are many dishes that are much more authentic and at a truly valid price. I have had udon or spaghetti in broth twice and they have disappointed both times, better to choose something else in my opinion

Locale di recente apertura, scoperto da una nostra amica cui diamo fiducia🙂.Siamo in 5 amici da una vita. Particolarità del locale, non servono sushi e sashimi per scelta di questa catena di ristoranti. Altro aspetto da notare, le posate sono su richiesta, noi decidiamo di fare senza. Il menù è alla carta, posto molto pulito e personale gentile, abbiamo provato diversi piatti, io non amo le zuppe, ma ho trovato ampia scelta tra carne e pesce, davvero una bella esperienza col plus dell'amicizia .Nelle foto ci sono anche piatti che non ho sentito🙂.
