Safari Sandwich In Messina

The Safari bar is a perfect spot to enjoy the astronomical clock, the fountain and the cathedral in Doumo Square! Food is clean fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the bruschetta and the Caprese salad finish with two lemon shell spritz the family that owns. This is very kind. We sat down before they opened as we left the cruise ship early and toured Messina in like one hour, lol The owner pulled up on a scooter rush to get the table set up and allow us to sit here for a few hours waiting for the 12 o’clock clock strike to see the lion the rooster and all the workings. They recommend this cute little family own place. It’s definitely Italian time so come right to chill relax and enjoy. They serve everything from pasta pepperoncini Panini‘s great beer, selection cocktails and wine. Price is fantastic. Quite a deal.

Had carbonate and regular pasta. Daughter devoured the regular pasta, and the carbonate was delicious with a strong parmesan/pecorino cheese flavor. I enjoyed it.

We happened upon it while passing by and stopped. We wanted a drink and were delighted by the recommendation of the waiter Alessandro, who made our spritz pleasant and tasty with excellent mixed meats. We started with a delicious arancini and finished with a ricotta cannoli. I highly recommend going because everything is excellent.

It was an awesome environment with no wait at all. Amazing experience definitely would recommend.

Wonderful food, location, and service! My family was able to sit outside directly across from the clock tower while we waited for noon for clock tower to move. Highly recommend the pizza, cannoli, and lemon granita.

Yesterday, after attending the Mengoni concert, two friends and I headed to the historic center and discovered Alessandro's delightful restaurant, which overlooks the beautiful Messina Cathedral! Alessandro welcomed us graciously and, despite the late hour, offered us a variety of typical Messina specialties (braciole, arancini (arancini are female for us in Trapani), his grilled burgers, and excellent sausage. All washed down with delicious, top-quality draft beers! We thank him for being kind, welcoming, and available to accommodate all our requests. If you're passing through Messina's historic center, stop by and try his meat delicacies! Congratulations, Alessandro! He was so thoughtful and kind that he gave us a giant bag of chips for our aperitivo the next day!

Excellent place for hospitality, courtesy and variety of offerings ... super good arancini for the rest I'm waiting to try it this evening !!!!!!!!
