Sacro e Profano In Roma

Great little place only a couple blocks from Trevi but without the crowds. Patio was shaded from the hot afternoon sun and actually had a pleasant little breeze. Service was quick and friendly. Menu had a nice selection…make sure your English version isn’t missing a page or two (mine did but thankfully I looked at my partners menu). Several local pastas available as well as salads, Roman pizza and much more. Nice local wine and beer selection as well. Prices were quite reasonable for that neighborhood. Inside is air conditioned and bathrooms clean! Tip: the sinks are pedal operated😉. Most non-Europeans might not notice and think sinks are broken. I didn’t take any photos while we had lunch but I walked back there the next morning to make sure I didn’t forget the name of the place. During the day, there are tables outside with large awnings for shade. We spent about 20 euro per person including wine or beer.

Located near the Trevi Fountain. Truly delicious dishes. Excellent product quality. More than generous portions. The staff is REALLY top-notch, with above-average politeness. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

A fascinating restaurant with a breathtaking backdrop!

Used to be a church but they explained the history. Don’t know why there are bad reviews but definitely try i had the fettuccine Alfredo very good! My dad didn’t even finish his meal it was too good. and too big. The language barrier was a little tough but make sure you speak very clearly my dad had a though time ordering and beer and i had a had time ordering my meal, took a long time to get my meal. still giving it five stars because the food made up for it. The food was too delicious. Please come here and give it a try enjoy!

El ambiente es genial y relajante, el servicio también es muy agradable y amable, no muy concurrido, la comida también era bastante buena, pero las verduras no eran tan frescas. Pero por lo demás una gran experiencia!

Evidemment le cadre du restaurant attire puisqu'installé dans une ancienne église. Ce n'est pas commun et ça apporte une certaine touche. Cependant, la décoration est minimaliste, et le restaurant est assez bruyant (en plus de la musique, la cuisine se trouve au rez-de-chaussée et vous pouvez être installé juste au dessus). Point clairement négatif, un service qui va beaucoup trop vite (Mon épouse venait de finir son assiette et moi je terminais, quand le serveur est venu déjà enlever l'assiette) . Plusieurs serveurs qui se succèdent en quelques minutes pour vous demander si le choix est fait etc.... ca donne un peu l'idée qu'il faut que ça aille vite, et de laisser la place pour d'autres clients.
