Walking through Trastevere and we entered this restaurant, welcomed by the waiter Ryan with a big smile, we decided to have lunch with my husband and my son, we ordered fillet of meat and lasagna, truly exceptional, with a good wine

Superb food, quality, magnificent presentation, very qualified and professional staff to the right degree. The surprise was the chef, who since 2023 has managed the kitchen in a passionate and serious manner. He comes to the table and asks you how it went and explains many things about the foods and the raw materials used. He cares a lot and you can immediately understand the love he puts into what he does and into the choices of dishes on the menu. Both fish and meat. Compliments.

This little gem is tucked away on Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere, and man, it’s the real deal. The food here is like a warm hug from your Nonna—it’s that good! I had the carbonara, and folks, it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The pasta was perfect, and the sauces? Outta this world. The service? Top-notch. The staff here is friendly, knowledgeable, and will even guide you through the menu like they’ve been workin’ there their whole lives. They even gave us some great wine recommendations from the local area, which made the meal even better. The vibe of the place is somethin’ special, too. It’s cozy, romantic, and gives you that feel of stepping back in time. You’re gonna wanna sit back, relax, and soak in the charm of this place. The only downside? It’s a little on the pricey side, but hey, you get what you pay for, and trust me, it's worth every penny. We had a fantastic experience, and the chef himself even came by our table to check on us—how’s that for personal touch? And let me just say, if you’re a fan of seafood, this place nails it. The raw fish was fantastic, especially the Gillardeau oysters and Mazara shrimp. The spaghettoni? Definitely try ‘em, they’re somethin’ special. And don’t skip the tiramisù—it’ll knock your socks off.

Peter was incredible! He was very attentive and the food was incredible! Sabatini is one of the best restaurants I’ve been too and would be a permanent stop any time in Rome! The pasta was amazing and so many options!

Me and my boyfriend went out for our one year anniversary and our last night in Rome, the service was incredible, we was served very quickly by Peter and he was very friendly and welcoming, made the night all the more special. The head chef Paolo is a master at his craft and every bite of the meal was enjoyable, and you're left wanting to come back and try more of the menu. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, i would give it more stars if I could.

Great New Year's Eve, simplified but very varied menu. The staff are very polite and very helpful. The setting is magnificent. No better place to spend the last evening of the year.

We enjoyed our meal here very much. We shared a board with cured meats and cheeses. My partner had sea bream which was amazing. I had spaghetti with crispy pork cheek which was also very good. The restaurant itself has a very nice ambiance and a lovely location opposite Basilica Santa Maria in Trastavere. It was quite expensive but we still enjoyed very much what we had. Our young waiter was a very pleasant and helpful young man also
