Sabadi In Modica

We went to the store based on the good reviews and at first we were immediately impressed by the interior, as well as the chocolate. But that's where it ended. The service was as if it didn't exist. And certainly not for foreign-speaking guests. Because people speaking Italian were served with a smile and explained what to do in the store and how to behave. And we, speaking in English, were invisible. Not to mention families with children. The saleswoman's behavior and look when her son wanted to eat some chocolate were downright unpleasant. I only bought there because it was too far to go back to the center downstairs. It's a pity, because the store is beautiful and in a beautiful place, but the behavior of the staff leaves a lot to think about.

Good chocolate, prices much above average compared to other chocolate sellers in Modica. The lady at the checkout who repeated several times a maximum of 2 3 tastings.....ok then since I only bought 2 bars...I WOULD HAVE GOT MANY MORE!!

Very friendly staff with some of the best chocolate around. Everything was available for sampling as well.

Mrs. Valentina's welcome was courteous, punctual and essential. Excellent and unique products. Prices appropriate to the quality.

Highly trained staff, exhaustive in their explanations and very capable of advising. I don't like chocolate but it's impossible to leave Sabadì without buying a lot of it because it's excellent.

Great place to sample and buy the amazing variety of chocolates made and sold in Modica -- and for free! They will also take you down into the vault and show you how they create the unusual flavors.

Visited the chocolate shop as part of a tour group . We were a big group , possibly too many for this tasting . Most of our group thought we were going to see chocolate being made . This didn’t happen . The lady telling us about the chocolate didn’t use a microphone & as the door to the street was open, so you couldn’t hear her very well . It was very hot in the room too. We were just given a run down of the flavours & prices of the chocolate & there were bowls of pieces you could try . We bought some chill chocolate & lemon & mint . It’s ok but has quite a grainy texture. As a lady that comes from the home town of Cadbury Chocolate I was a bit disappointed by this visit . It felt rushed, with not a lot of content .

Shop that sells chocolate prepared according to the traditional recipe, and flavored with different fruits or spices. The product is very good, but very expensive, count 5€ for a mini tablet. Possibility to taste the chocolates before purchase.
