Great place to sample and buy the amazing variety of chocolates made and sold in Modica -- and for free! They will also take you down into the vault and show you how they create the unusual flavors.

Visited the chocolate shop as part of a tour group . We were a big group , possibly too many for this tasting . Most of our group thought we were going to see chocolate being made . This didn’t happen . The lady telling us about the chocolate didn’t use a microphone & as the door to the street was open, so you couldn’t hear her very well . It was very hot in the room too. We were just given a run down of the flavours & prices of the chocolate & there were bowls of pieces you could try . We bought some chill chocolate & lemon & mint . It’s ok but has quite a grainy texture. As a lady that comes from the home town of Cadbury Chocolate I was a bit disappointed by this visit . It felt rushed, with not a lot of content .

On average €90/kg for industry experts is a steal in this newborn (compared to other local brands) shop in the heart of Modica. Modern environment and friendly staff who are too sales-oriented. Modica chocolate of different types, pure and refined with local ingredients.

Interesting shop where you will find many different types of chocolate on display, with various aromas and intensities, from 48 to 100%. Obviously Modica chocolate produced by them, the infused chocolates are also interesting. The girl who patiently illustrated every single product was kind, but I didn't like the lady, her manners were hasty and focused solely on sales. But...the prices are really very high...considering that in the area there are other chocolate producers with much more affordable prices!

Chocolate shop with a large selection of high quality Modica chocolate. The staff is very friendly and even offers tastings in Russian or Ukrainian. I highly recommend seeing the world’s first cellar for maturing chocolate in spices, flowers, tea and even tobacco, with which you can conduct a tasting with vermouth.

Beautiful shop where you can buy the typical Modica chocolate. There are chocolate bars for all tastes, orange, pepper, citrus and even very particular flavors. Recommended for those who want to give it as a gift!

Perfect quality and delivery service! I also stopped by the place and there is the possibility of tasting every type of chocolate. Magical place! The girls are very courteous and helpful! Super recommended if you are a chocolate lover

26/10/2024: We had dinner in this restaurant two evenings having spent a holiday in Sicily. The environment is very nice and clean, the service offered is excellent, Norma is a very sweet and discreet person. The husband in charge of the kitchen is a courteous guy who transmits to you all the love he puts into preparing the delicious dishes he prepares. There was plenty of choice on the extensive menu. We ate excellent dishes prepared with excellent quality raw materials. The strictly homemade pasta. What can I say..... Everything was super. I wish this lovely couple who run this place with so much passion a future full of satisfaction.
16/10/2024: Ma quali ristoranti "gourmet". Ma quali chef "stellati". Ma quali cucine "alternative" o "bio" o "etniche". Ma quali particolari "location" o arredamenti "trendy". Vai al Disio: farai pace col Mondo, prenderai una boccata di aria fresca, starai come in famiglia, mangerai cibi genuini e preparati ad arte. Insomma: vivrai un'esperienza indimenticabile. Non c'è molto altro da dire del Disio che non sia già stato detto, da me e da altri. Bisogna venire e tastare con mano. Anzi: assaggiare col proprio palato. E godere del luogo e della infinita simpatia di Biagio e Norma, gli allegri, innamoratissimi e dinamici titolari di questo piccolo angolo di Paradiso. Io mi fermo qui e vado a digerire. Una digestione sempre leggera e che porta felicità, come un bambino che ha appena finito di prendere il latte materno. Grazie Biagio, grazie Norma. Soprattutto per esserci ancora oggi, nel 2024. Cosa banale, ma non scontata in questo mondo di arrangiati e fuori mestiere! P.S. Ma si che c'è una nota negativa nelle mie, ormai plurime, esperienze al Disio: non posso andar li a pasteggiare tutti i giorni! Mannaggia la pupazza!!! O_O

01/09/2024: Well what can I say... the environment is clean and very nice the staff is kind and friendly (especially a curly blonde lady) the croissants and coffee are exceptional like everything else... definitely worth trying HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
29/08/2024: Il Caffè Borghese a Comiso è un bel punto di incontro dove trovare, in un ambiente luminoso e climatizzato, le migliori dolcezze siciliane, a partire dall'eccezionale cremolata e "briossa".
