Absolutely recommended!! We have been to the Saalerwirt several times. Both starters and main courses tasted excellent this time as always and are of excellent quality, the homemade raspberry poppy seed cake was a real pleasure. The portions were large and at a more than fair price. The service staff were friendly and attentive, even the boss personally inquired about the guests' satisfaction. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the restaurant was nice and bright and warm with a great view. The location itself is of course always worth a trip and impresses every time. We'll definitely be back!

We are staying in the country house and the rooms are spacious and clean. The half board with the evening menu is an ABSOLUTE RECOMMENDATION! This gourmet meal is accompanied by great wines, which are recommended by the young host Gabriel. The other service staff also have their hearts in the right place and are extremely friendly. The newly renovated spa area is wonderful and another highlight. HIGHLY recommended for a relaxing vacation!!!

Nos quedamos muy decepcionados con la comida en este restaurante. Según las críticas positivas esperábamos algo especial, pero era simplemente mediocre y menos comida y servicio. Lo único bueno fue mi sopa de remolacha, pero de nuevo nada realmente especial. Mi esposa tiene sopa de calabaza sin sabor. Mi “wiener snitzel” era suave y bueno, pero las patatas parecían restos de otros huéspedes. La pasta de esposas fue un desastre. Así que, desde mi punto de vista, hay muchos más restaurantes mejores en los alrededores. ¡No se recomienda!

Room classic is a cozy room with the necessary facilities, but somewhat dated. The terrace next to the restaurant has a beautiful view. With some nice weather and an apple strudel with whipped cream, you will soon have a great time. The “new Badehaus” with swimming pool looks very well maintained and is beautiful. The space and the pool itself have a pleasant temperature. However, we were unpleasantly surprised that there were babies in diapers in the swimming pool and the quiet areas (with the sign please be quiet). The breakfast is very extensive with various types of bread and toppings, the coffee is (reasonably) good. The salad buffet is also extensive and there is something for everyone's taste. We expected more from dinner, the menu didn't show much that was surprising. The staff is friendly, but not everyone appeared to follow the serving rules. Serving plates across the table is not allowed (there was enough space to serve properly), but it was done. That's a shame. All in all, a cozy hotel with a beautiful location, but with some points of attention.

Visited with BMW motorcycle enthusiasts in July 2020. A traditional inn at a high level. The small pilgrimage site of Maria Saalen is a romantic hamlet. Saalerwirt has, among other things, an exclusive SPA area with a natural pond. Large terrace to relax. Room cozy. A lot of renovation has been done. I was there for the first time with my MTB in 2005 and we'll be back. 08/26/24 Guest at the Saalerwirt again. Basis for my BMW motorcycle tours in the Dolomites. We have been here with the BMW Zero Group for many years and enjoy the country and its people, especially the Saalerwirt. The pictures document it again.

Una terrazza così é difficile da trovare posto bellissimo cucina che è tornata di grande qualità personale gentile e professionale. Ottimo sia per una bella colazione che per un pranzo in famiglia o tra amici. Tra i piatti gustati ottimo il fegato ed il goulash di cervo sempre buono lo strudel. Conto onesto che ti fa venire voglia di tornare. Consigliato P.S. i nostri amici pelosi sono ben accetti. N.B. la valutazione non mette a confronto i vari ristoranti, ma è frutto di quello che abbiamo provato quel giorno e tiene conto anche del contesto socio geografico del locale, utilizzando una scala di valori da 1 a 10 merita un 8.4
