Sa Lolla In Barumini

Durante il mio soggiorno a Barumini ho cenato due volte e pranzato una volta in questo splendido locale, e ogni volta è stata una delizia, a cominciare dall'accoglienza e a finire dal conto. Il cibo è ottimo e abbondante, e il fatto che io non abbia mai mangiato due volte la stessa pietanza fa capire anche la varietà del menu per un vegetariano (cosa che di solito non è scontata). Inoltre, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è decisamente corretto. Molto buono il vino della casa e i dolci, in particolare la carapigna. Il posto ha anche delle stanze dove ho alloggiato, e da questo punto di vista confermo la disponibilità e la gentilezza del personale, che si è prodigato per far sì che passassi un soggiorno indimenticabile. Non solo ci tornerei, ma proprio non vedo l'ora di tornarci!

Restaurant visited with full satisfaction ten years ago. An ancient building, well furnished, with a splendid external courtyard. Easy parking. Passing through the area, we wanted to repeat the experience for lunch: it was a success! The menu is limited, but each of the courses offered (there were six of us: we had the opportunity to try almost all the dishes) was a positive surprise, which confirmed, even improving, the memories. Arriving a little later than the reservation we made, we received immediate and friendly attention, and the wait was minimal. Attentive service, from a competent and constantly listening staff, friendliness and kindness. Dishes cooked to perfection, with high quality local raw materials. Most of the recipes respect the canons of Sardinian tradition, but there is no shortage of national cuisine dishes. Prevalence of excellent local labels also on the wine list. Executions always very appetizing and tasty, it is difficult to establish preferences in excellence! But, in conclusion, not to be missed is the house sorbet (an ancient artisanal tradition), especially the one with pompìa (delicious local citrus fruit). The always attentive owner, friendly and very kind, is an inexhaustible source of anecdotes and local history. The prices, absolutely within the norm, constitute a positive surprise, given the quality of the offer. After the extraordinary archaeological experience of Su Nuraxi, this restaurant is a worthy crowning point for the day.

Il locale all esterno si presenta molto bene, lucine e tavoli puliti, ma sopratutto a distanza per garantire la tua privacy. La cosa che più mi preme scrivere è che il menù per la stagione estiva è un po’ pesante. I piatti sono tutti della tradizione , e su questo non si può dire nulla , ma per queste temperature non è molto indicato, inoltre una persona che non mangia carne di pecora ,capra ecc non ha molta scelta ! Personalmente i ravioli che ho scelto io erano buoni , i malloreddus buoni e anche i boccoli al ragù di pecora , anche se sul fondo c’erano due dita di olio che comunque rendevano il piatto molto pesante. Riguardo i dolci, mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Prezzi nella norma anche se 6€ per un contorno di patatine fritte lo trovo eccessivo
