Average restaurant, quite tourist trap if you think of eating traditional Sardinian food. Prices a bit high but perhaps justified by the location and food without infamy and without praise

Cozy atmosphere, excellent food and service! Very fresh and delicate prepared dishes, we had pasta, carpaccio de manzo and a chorizo kinda stew, and it was all delicious!! We felt refreshed and disconnected from busy hot day while there.

Overall good, I found some of the portions to be a bit too small to be considered a main but we tried the culurgiones as an appetizer to share and it worked out (maybe that's supposed to be an appetizer?). My main meal was sized well. I did the steak and ordered potatoes and chard and we could have shared the potatoes and chard with how much they give. Food in general was good, I'd have those culurgiones again, very tasty.

If you have a refined palate and want to have a unique experience, of contemporary Sardinian cuisine this is definitely the ideal place. Sublime food starting from the appetizers where I personally chose Su Casu Furriau, a roasted sheep's cheese served with chestnut honey and walnuts, a recipe I must say studied to perfection to balance the various ingredients, and Sa Purpuzza de Sa Domu pork sausage stewed with fennel, Vermentino and Mediterranean herbs, another delicacy. Followed by the Donkey Stew with Cherry Tomatoes, another culinary work of art. And finally I couldn't help but finish in style with an amazing dessert IL Ricordo di Pardula, a cheese cake with delicate local sheep's ricotta, orange juice, honey and saffron. The very welcoming restaurant recreates the homely atmosphere of a Sardinian home, the staff is highly professional from all points of view, and excellent quality/price. Highly recommended

Sa Domu Sarda – Authentic and tasty in the heart of Cagliari We already noticed when we received the bag of bread that this was going to be a good meal – where many restaurants serve dry and boring bread, here we were served soft and fresh varieties. A small detail, but it says a lot! We shared dumplings as a starter – fresh and delicious. The main course (beef) was perfectly cooked and served with fresh salad. We took potatoes and chard as a side dish – both tasted good, but we could have easily shared one portion, as there was a lot of food. Nice and attentive staff, and generally good atmosphere in the car-free street. The only minus was a little too many flies during the meal – otherwise a very good experience. Recommended!

Servizio gentile e veloce. Bello il locale e vario il menù ricco di proposte tipiche. Tutto squisito,antipasto di formaggi tipici con marmellate,melanzana fritta e poi i primi piatti. Fregola allo zafferano con salsiccia e funghi spaziale,gnocchetti sardi con salsiccia divino e vino Cannonau da far girar la testa. Per finire? Il dolce tipico più buono che c’è! Miele e formaggio fritto in questa sfoglia sottile e calda che sa regalare al palato ricordi unici. Grazie Sardegna

Servizio curato attento e gentile. Siete stati una piacevolissima scoperta ..
30/04/2025: It almost looks like a farmhouse restaurant, but serves creative dishes with superlative ingredients. Probably two of the best sea bream I've ever eaten. Highly recommended!

13/07/2025: We ordered a menu that included 10 appetizers, bread, water, fregola with seafood, pasta with truffles, and dessert for €30 per person. The carabineri were spectacular.
13/07/2025: Great availability even when booking by phone, excellent on-site reception, super-fast preparation of my young son's dish (cutlets and fries). I chose the lobster linguine, a true delicacy as well as a beautiful sight, not to mention the decidedly generous portion, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I then continued with some delicious shrimp and fish meatballs, finishing with a delicious lactose-free Catalan cream. My husband chose land between a lovely appetizer of Sardinian cheeses and cured meats and a very good Angus beef, to finish with his own dessert and a warm chocolate cake for my son. We chose the à la carte menu due to our preference, but they also offer very interesting guided tasting menus. I also want to highlight the attention to detail in every single course, as well as the option of lactose-free options, including desserts. The value for money was absolutely more than fair. We had a great time and therefore highly recommend it, both for families and in general. The location is intimate, minimal yet effective, and super clean (as are the bathrooms).
