Located right next to Untermais train station. The restaurant is recommended; the rooms are a bit dated, but the service is friendly.

Concerning the restaurant Pizza 4 stars Service 1 star (current evening) German and English are not understood Therefore, even though we had a table, pizzas were served with drinks in pizza boxes, and then also incorrectly. What a shame

Very clean room. Staff was also happy. Gluten-free pizza was excellent, the dough was a dream. We'd be happy to go again.

We stayed here for one night on our way back from Lake Garda. The stone-baked pizza is very good. But the breakfast buffet was really limited. The rooms are air-conditioned, and dogs are allowed. The windows have very good soundproofing. There's also an elevator.

The rooms are functionally furnished but clean. Margarethe's room is a bit worn, and at night (just before midnight) someone was apparently still working (kitchen?) and making a lot of noise. You can rent bikes from the city of Merano at the nearby train station (5 hours free via an app). The restaurant is very tasty pizza!

Great service, very accommodating, spacious and clean rooms, with daily cleaning and towel changes. Central location near the train station.

The room was large but dated, and very bright as the curtains weren't blackout. The bathroom was large but with a very small shower. The staff were a bit disorganized and forgetful! Check-in was very complicated as we canceled a room within the specified time frame. The email apparently didn't arrive and we were asked to pay more than we should have. After a lot of back and forth, everything worked out and the bill was corrected. A table for breakfast was supposed to be reserved as there were 6 people in the group, but unfortunately the table was occupied and not reserved! Coffee had to be picked up at the counter. A taxi was supposed to have been called, but it was forgotten! We weren't even offered an underground parking space. Breakfast was very straightforward.

As a dog owner, it wasn't easy to find a hotel with three dogs. We were even allowed to bring our dogs into the restaurant. Thank you very much for that. Otherwise, the location impresses with its excellent cuisine and, as the name suggests, with the many Cavallo pictures on the walls, featuring wonderful "horses."
