Great service, very accommodating, spacious and clean rooms, with daily cleaning and towel changes. Central location near the train station.

The room was large but dated, and very bright as the curtains weren't blackout. The bathroom was large but with a very small shower. The staff were a bit disorganized and forgetful! Check-in was very complicated as we canceled a room within the specified time frame. The email apparently didn't arrive and we were asked to pay more than we should have. After a lot of back and forth, everything worked out and the bill was corrected. A table for breakfast was supposed to be reserved as there were 6 people in the group, but unfortunately the table was occupied and not reserved! Coffee had to be picked up at the counter. A taxi was supposed to have been called, but it was forgotten! We weren't even offered an underground parking space. Breakfast was very straightforward.

As a dog owner, it wasn't easy to find a hotel with three dogs. We were even allowed to bring our dogs into the restaurant. Thank you very much for that. Otherwise, the location impresses with its excellent cuisine and, as the name suggests, with the many Cavallo pictures on the walls, featuring wonderful "horses."

Very good value for money. Good breakfast. Even a delicious beer on the house. Definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Cavallino s'Rössl in Merano. We highly recommend the hotel! We especially appreciated the option of parking our car safely in the underground garage (for only a €10 surcharge). The quick and easy bus connection directly to the city center was also a huge advantage. We'd love to come back!

Highly recommended, anyone can make a mistake but it's how you fix it that makes the difference.

Following a very big mishap between the hotel and Booking, there was a big problem with the rooms, it must be said that there were nine of us motorcycles, so nine rooms. A room was missing upon arrival. But the staff did everything they could to relocate us. We were only missing one room, which was relocated to a very nearby hotel. They went out of their way to do everything necessary to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Bravo to the team.

About the hotel: The rooms are sufficiently large and bright with everything you need. The bathroom is very spacious and even wheelchair accessible. The air conditioning works well. A courteous and friendly lady at the reception desk also has bicycle storage. The breakfast was simple but had everything you need, including delicious typical Italian cornettos/croissants and fresh fruit. Excellent coffee from the espresso machine. About the restaurant: The pizza and tagliata were good value for money, although the pasta could be a bit larger. Everything was very tasty. Unfortunately, we had to wait half an hour for each drink. The waiter was a bit overwhelmed and inattentive despite the small number of guests. The drinks in question only arrived after repeated requests and re-ordering from different waiters. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money, especially for a stopover.

The guesthouse is divided into... ... the hotel: Large and very clean rooms with a very large bathroom and accessible shower and toilet. The lady at the reception was very friendly and accommodating. Bicycles can be stored here in the basement. The breakfast was simple but high-quality, with very tasty croissants. The freshly brewed coffee from the portafilter machine was particularly delicious. ... the restaurant: Phew... the food – pasta and pizza – was very tasty and good value for money. Not so good, however, was the service, which seemed overwhelmed despite the low occupancy. We waited almost half an hour for our drinks, which only arrived after we finished our meal and after we asked again. Ordering more drinks was also difficult, as the waiter barely had a look at us. It was practically impossible to get a drink. Hence the downgrade for the service.
