We went for lunch, and the first impression was truly positive; the atmosphere is welcoming and familiar. For starters, we had the Jewish-style artichoke, which was excellent—even though I'm no expert, it was really well-fried. Next, we had borscht and zucchini and cheese meatballs, both very good. Finally, we had a Jewish-style cheesecake, superb. I'm truly satisfied and will be back.

It feels like you're being invited into a cosy family home to stay over for dinner. The shared dish for 2 is a great assembly of different tastes and very enjoyable. The restaurant is fully vegetarian, and I didn't feel like I missed meat. The other dishes smelled very nice as well but of course a stomach can hold only so much, so we will have to come back again. Fun fact: you get to take home the menu (which doubles as a map) and a pretty postcard. This is the kind of restaurant where I gladly give a tip.

It's simply amazing to feel at Ruth's house, Bethlehem. Ruth, who was born on Shavuot and entered the yoke of the grace of the mitzvot and added 606 to the 7 that was already committed, multiplied peace in the world, with special dairy foods that symbolize Shavuot, even in the videos of Romi in Italy, she fixes sparks of holiness, thank you very much!

We had a wonderful time at Ruth's!
The food was delicious and Simcha and the staff were extremely hospitable. We enjoyed a Friday night meal, and just had to come back for more on the following Sunday ;)
