Wonderful place!! Delicious food with some very unique recipes.
The host and waitresses are incredibly kind!!
Highly recommended if you want to try something different.
It felt like being in a medieval tavern. The spiced wine and the apple and currant juice were good. The maltagliati with game ragù didn't particularly impress me; it tasted like plain pasta with oil and ground beef; adding cheese made it more flavorful. The mixed meats were better; we liked the sausages; the piece of rabbit was good, if a little dry; the pork slices were lukewarm; a little warmer would have been better. I liked the chicken leg the most, even though the inside was pink. The salsa verde accompanying the meat was good. The fried mushrooms were bland. The tart was a bit straightforward, perhaps because of the medieval recipe; the jam on the tart was good.
