Excellent place to enjoy locally farmed meat. The wine is a bit of a letdown, but I hope they fix that.

We are on vacation in Sicily and we found this establishment on Google. Everything is great: atmosphere, staff, cuisine, only fresh products and excellent meats cooked over a great wood fire. I recommend it and we paid €45 for everything. We really liked it. Thank you, Daniel.

We've been here before for lunch and chose it again for our Ferragosto dinner. This grill serves excellent quality meat. Perfect for a winter or summer barbecue. There's ample space to share good wine and food. The only downside is the road to get there, which is dark at night... but it's absolutely worth it! Highly recommended.

A very nice place, and they've renovated it a lot in recent years. Nice cuts of meat at very fair prices. Only complaint: our rare Florentine steak was completely raw and cold inside. The crust on the outside was fine, but the inside, when rare, should be a nice 48-50 degrees Celsius. Especially the rib eye, which, having a slightly thicker grain, would have benefited greatly. But who are we Venetians to tell you how to cook meat?

The food is good, the meat is excellent, but the location is in the middle of nowhere, I don't know whether to call this a good thing or a bad thing.

Just a few kilometers from the Ionian coast, where seafood is at its finest, "Rusti e Mangia" is an excellent haven for carnivores. The owner, Mr. Smiroldo, has been raising and butchering meat for generations. We ordered an appetizer, five meat courses, cured meats and cheeses, and a mixed roast consisting of six different types of meat. I also noticed several Florentine steak courses, which looked truly inviting. The very kind owner also offered us a very tender and perfectly cooked steak, with three different colors. Highly recommended for those seeking a true carnivore's evening. The prices are reasonable for the quality offered.

One of the best grill experiences I’ve ever had and at a great price! From the perfectly charred lamb chops to the massive, juicy Fiorentina steak, every bite was full of rich, smoky flavor. The portions were generous, the quality outstanding, and the prices surprisingly fair, especially for the size and taste you get. The atmosphere was simple and authentic just good food, good vibes, and grilled meat done right. The way could worth it when you taste the first lamb chops!!😉 💯 If you’re a meat lover in Sicily, this place is a must. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Roast meat in all its variations, veal, mutton, chicken, you will not eat anything so good. The "Florentine" rib eye is unsurpassed, as are the lemon leaf skewers. Trust Onofrio and you will not be disappointed. I brought my friends here and some have chosen it almost as their home. Rustic and spartan place with the best meat in the area and, perhaps, on the Ionian coast. If I want meat I come here and in front of the counter I choose what to have cooked expertly guided by the owner. For me Smiroldo number one.
