We were there for lunch at 12:30, and contrary to other opinions, we received very friendly service. The appetizer, main course, and accompanying wine were all highly recommended. If we ever return to Agrigento, we have a great place to eat.

We haven‘t met such listless and unmotivated waiters for quite some time. No smile , no nice words, no urge to making us feel comfortable. The restaurant was empty when we arrived around 7:30 and did not fill until we left. We ordered orange salad as a starter and had to ask for a spoon to share it. The spigola from the menu was sold out (!), tagliatelle were ok. Open wine only by the glass and quite expensive. We have eaten much nicer in Sicily during the last week.

I'm only posting this now because I feel really bad for the chef. The price was a bit higher than we expected (due to the exchange rate), so we thought it was too expensive. The chef went to each table, but since we don't speak Italian, we didn't get to talk to him. However, after spending over ten days in Italy, looking back, for the same price, his pasta was the best, most flavorful, and richest we've ever had. Actually, we wanted to scream while we were eating it, but we thought all pasta in Italy was like that, so we didn't say anything. We only realized later that we couldn't find pasta of the same caliber anywhere else. Chef, you are truly amazing! I'll definitely try your other dishes if I have the chance to go back!

A truly wonderful experience. Everything was excellent. The atmosphere was truly welcoming and well-maintained. The staff was friendly. Highly recommended. Chatterscale 3 had pleasant background noise.

The osteria is located on a small side street near the theater. It's a pleasant, harmonious place. The food is excellent, and there are some off-menu dishes suggested by the chef. We had a seafood salad made with fresh raw and cooked fish and a pasta dish with shrimp and bottarga—absolutely delicious. We paired our meal with a glass of white wine, but the wine selection is varied and offers a selection of interesting wineries. We finished lunch with dessert—the Sicilian cassata, which completed the deliciousness. The staff is very attentive to the customer's needs. I highly recommend it. Tourists and anyone in the area should definitely go there, you won't regret it.

Located in the historic center, adjacent to the city hall and the beautiful Teatro Pirandello, the restaurant is welcoming and elegant, filled with theater posters as if it were a foyer. Service is fast and impeccable, and the dishes are simple, authentic, and unfussy. Fish is Ruga's signature dish, whether in broth, baked, or fried, the ingredients are treated to achieve excellent results. Highly recommended.
