Small grill restaurant, efficient and very friendly staff. The €20 menu (drinks not included) includes a carpaccio appetizer, a charcuterie and cheese platter, and an excellent focaccia. The mixed grill was very good and plentiful. We'll definitely be back.

Review: Disappointing experience (especially on a Saturday)
We visited this restaurant on Saturday night, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't the best. Here are the main reasons:
Too small space: The restaurant is definitely too small for the flow of customers it accommodates. You're crowded, the atmosphere quickly becomes chaotic, and you literally feel overwhelmed by the crowd. It's crucial they consider expanding.
Biblical wait times: We waited an hour just to order. Such a wait is unjustifiable, even considering the weekend peak.
Food quality: The most disappointing aspect was the horse meat, which unfortunately arrived very tough and difficult to eat.
Tip: If you really want to try it, definitely avoid Saturdays. Currently, the management of volumes and the quality of service aren't up to the level of the chaos it creates.

I've known Rubio's Corato for years: it's not one of those places you go to every week, but it is one of those places you return to often and happily, because you know exactly what to expect...quality, substance, and a genuine family atmosphere. The atmosphere is informal yet refined, with a nicely sized, welcoming, and functional dining room. During the summer, outdoor tables are available, and they're also set up on the sidewalk, making the experience even more pleasant on warm evenings. The restaurant is air-conditioned in the summer and well-heated in the winter, always clean and tidy, a detail that is by no means a given.
The meat is always carefully selected, flavorful, and prepared with care; the sandwiches are generous and satisfying, with an excellent variety of toppings. The atmosphere is informal yet warm, perfect for evenings with friends or simple yet flavorful dinners.
I know the staff very well: Ilaria, our friend for many years, is a wonderful person, as are Felice, Dino, Domenico, and even the newer guys. I can confidently say: everyone is truly excellent, professional, friendly, and always available. The team's camaraderie is clearly evident, and it's a value that makes all the difference. The quality-price ratio is solid, in the €10–20 per person range, a plus for those looking for bold flavors without spending a fortune.
📌 Strong points:
✔️ Consistent quality over time
✔️ Top-notch meat and sandwiches
✔️ Exceptional, friendly, and knowledgeable staff
🛑 Note:
⏱️ During peak times, the wait can increase, but it's understandable given the demand; it's best to arrive early or opt for takeout.
In short: Rubio's Corato is a guarantee. A place that never disappoints and that, over the years, has consistently proven itself to be top-notch. 🔥

Sometimes you have to wait, sometimes it's smooth but the wait is certainly a delicacy for the palate... I have 5 stars at my disposal for reviews but the whole constellation would not be enough to describe this enchanting place with unique and satisfying flavors.... thank you Dino, thank you staff, you are irreplaceable in everything: courtesy, hospitality and gastronomic quality
