Good evening everyone, I'll start by saying that you don't expect a place so well-kept, spacious and with such a personal service, in Lido in Gran Viale... We discovered it almost by chance and we can't do without it anymore... I have yet to try a dish that isn't my all-time favorite... fried food, raw fish, la tecia, cape, homemade fish gnocchi, fish pie, everything tastes like home but has an unforgettable taste, above all you can savor the quality, starting from the typical products to how it is served... My son can't stop mopping up every dish that arrives... Staff location high quality food made with love by this family that has put their heart into it for generations! The photos don't do it justice but you will be thrilled

Very nice service and good prices. The atmosphere is great too. If you have people who don’t drink alcohol, Gingerino is an awesome option!

Fast and friendly service. We had pizza. Even for Italy, the motherland of the dish, it was excellent. The beer (on draught) was quite good - we had 2 kinds of red beer.

I ate a portion of Cozze as a starter and they were excellent 👌 - the pizza wasn't really my taste but it was definitely worth eating - the service and ambience in the restaurant were great - recommended in my opinion - tanti saluti di Austria 😎

The food was excellent. The table service was also excellent (charged €4 for the table service...) Like others have noted, I too was offered the EFTPOS payment in euro, and once I tapped my card to confirm, they then changed it to AUD and I got stung with the conversion rate. Such a shame, aside from that it was awesome

Good food and nice staff, I can't say otherwise. Although the quality of the food was high, the price did not justify the quantity: for 8 cicchetti at €3 each (price indicated on the menu), 2 swordfish caponatas at €16 each (starter portion and without communicating the price), 5 glasses of wine at €6.50 each, a liter of water and two coffees, €106 seems like an exaggerated sum to me. For the same amount, I ate a starter, first course and dessert (including wine) in excellent places. The bill was excessive, considering what we ate. We are talking about croutons with a single portion of fish. Furthermore, they added 10% for service (surcharge indicated on the menu) but that doesn't make sense. Like paying two place settings €5 each, for a napkin. I had never seen something like this in Italy. Sin!
