We had dinner at this beautiful restaurant nestled in a stunning cave. Stunning location, the addition of the heaters was great because it's cool inside. Quality food. The strozzapreti with chestnuts was delicious. The ribs were super good. The desserts were impeccable. Fair prices for such a unique location. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of dining at Rottezzia and was truly impressed. It's one of those places where everything seems right: from the warm welcome from the staff, to the attention to detail in the ambiance, to, of course, the excellent quality of the dishes. The restaurant is refined but not overly so, with an intimate and relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. The service was impeccable: attentive, kind, present at the right time, never intrusive. The cuisine, however, is what truly makes this restaurant special. Each dish tells a story, with top-quality ingredients and a combination of flavors that demonstrates passion and expertise. I particularly enjoyed the beef tartare (recommended by the charming waiter), but everything was truly amazing. I would return just for the hospitality and sweet kindness 💐♥️

We stopped by for lunch and found this restaurant charming and welcoming. The service was courteous and quick, and the food was excellent. We ate carbonara and a creamy zucchini tart on a relaxing terrace with a lovely view. Prices were average, and I'd go back!

I had dinner at this restaurant last night and was truly satisfied. The food is excellent and the setting is spectacular! You eat in a real "cave" dug by hand centuries ago! A round of applause also for the chestnut liqueur!

I love this place. I've been there several times, though I've personally been there less recently for other reasons. But I think it's beautiful and unique. 💪

Today, after walking along the Chia waterfall and tower trail, we stopped for lunch at Rottezzia while strolling through the center of Soriano nel Cimino. The restaurant is beautiful, completely carved out of the tuff. One of the owners showed us around the restaurant. There's even a tunnel that descends 35 meters underground, once used as a cellar and later as a shelter during the war. Very impressive. We ate wonderfully. The tonnarelli cacio e pepe with guanciale and broad beans were out of this world. The wine was also excellent. The two guys who run the restaurant are very kind and professional. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you.

Exceeded my already high expectations. Everything was excellent, from the welcome to the quality and exquisitely cooked food. Definitely "nice people." I'll be back soon!!!!
