Modica is a city rich in good food, but when it comes to desserts and gelato, I've never found anything better, not even at the most famous gelaterias in Rome. The pear gelato, in particular, impressed me so much that, after trying it a few days ago, I immediately went out and bought another tub. A full five stars with honors.
The service is punctual and professional: a rare quality in Modica, where professionalism is often confused with trust. Theirs, however, exudes seriousness and attention, and many should follow their example.
I'm not the best person to judge the ambience, but while I was busy choosing flavors, my better half immediately appreciated the elegance, cleanliness, and authentic style of the place.

In an anonymous context, in the middle of 70s/80s buildings and, with ordinary quality, 2 granitas with cream, served in small glasses and 2 brioches for 12.50 euros... Prices from the historic center like the Colosseum, Piazza San Marco in Venice, not to go far from Sicily, in Piazza Massimo in Palermo, granita with cream and brioche for 5 euros, in Patti 2 granitas with cream, of an extraordinary quality and goodness and a coffee for 8.50 euros, on top of that on the seafront... in Sicily, and especially for the people of Modica, these prices are truly illogical.
