A rotisserie that has now become a restaurant. The selection is good; the night I ate there, there were no spicy dishes. Everything was good and easy to digest. Prices are reasonable for the portions. The atmosphere could be improved. The waiter was very kind and helpful.

Beautiful evening.. full of discoveries.. in the heart of Modena a discreet corner of true Egyptian cuisine.. I found the merghez, juicy beef sausages.. space-age stuffed aubergines..: very soft tajine and hummus.. the owner, who served us, seemed Battiato, elegant and sharp.. very kind ☺️

22/03/2026: Looking for a traditional lunch, we were welcomed to this trattoria by the owner and staff, who were truly kind, friendly, pleasant, and professional. The food met our expectations and definitely left us with fond memories of this Modenese lunch. The lasagna and tortellini with parmesan cream were very enjoyable. The desserts (torta tenerone with mascarpone cream and almond and strawberry tart) were wonderful.
07/03/2026: A good experience at this downtown trattoria. The cutlet was excellent, crispy and dry, and definitely recommended. Friendly staff. Prices are moderate to high.

Trattoria Alla Redecocca

14/02/2026: Excellent cuisine, friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent value for money. I returned after a year and the service has even improved, a rare thing for a restaurant. Among the best in Modena. Welcoming place.
30/01/2026: We met at this inn for a reunion with childhood friends who hadn't seen each other in 40 years. It was a wonderful evening. We enjoyed the appetizers and first courses. I recommend the pappardelle with wild boar.
