Trattoria with ancient tradition in a strategic place between Val Resia and the Ferro Canal. They make excellent spit-roasted chicken accompanied by good wine and delicious desserts, excellent after a ride on the nearby Alpe Adria cycle path.

In truth, the new waitress was also in charge of the raion. There was a bit of chaos in that we ordered 3 chickens, 2 arrived. We sat for 15 minutes while we ordered. And they waited another 20 minutes for the chicken.

We had the chicken with french fries, the frico with polenta and the pork ribs.
A GOODNESS!!!!!
Friendly, kind and fast.
EXCELLENT service, all accompanied by the wonderful view of the mountains.
If you are passing through, stop because it's worth it!

Renovated environment, poor service, average food.
One waitress looked like she didn't understand us, as if she was in a trans state! We asked for dessert and the order didn't arrive... I would teach the young waiter better what it means to do service. I'm in the profession and when I teach younger people the first thing I say is to smile and be kind, place the dish in front of the person who ordered it and describe it and not to stay in one place and pass the dishes worse than a cheap canteen without saying a word!!! I don't blame him because he seemed very young to me, but training the staff a minimum is a must for me!
What left me stunned is the cost of a 75ml bottle of water, not even from the fridge (€3.40) and I was complaining about the prices of water in Chinese AYCEs 😅 I have to change my mind!!!
On the menu it says that the cooking times between the rotisserie and the kitchen are obviously different so, as happened to us too, those who eat the chicken will watch the other diners finish the dish and then eat! Writing it on the menu frees you from the obvious complaints, but communication between the kitchen and the rotisserie would be enough and everyone would eat together... like in any restaurant! Or should we, the customers, be the ones to ask to slow down the cooking so we can all enjoy dinner together?

When you are in the area, the stop is recommended. Chicken always at the top (recently they are completing the renovation even more modern and welcoming 💯)
