We ordered a Florentine steak aged 20g and a rib-eye aged over 60g, both delicious. They were served on a hot griddle so the meat stayed warm. They were accompanied by a side of baked potatoes, also very tasty, and a bottle of excellent Nebbiolo.
The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and advised us on our selection.
Excellent place, we'll definitely be back.

Evening with friends, a little disappointed with some of the dishes. The meat was definitely good quality, perhaps worth trying again on a more fortunate evening.

Since we discovered this little place (about a year ago), we've been back at least once a month. We've tried all the tartares, each one better than the last, hand-chopped in front of us topped with that indescribable pesto; and their platters of excellent cured meats and cheeses.
We always return with the intention of trying different dishes, but we always end up with Cabannina's magnificent Fiorentina steak because as soon as you see it, it's impossible not to order it. The hospitality and professionalism of the staff and owners is perfect (we love Mr. Mauro!!).

We went to this restaurant for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service (attentive and professional, but not intrusive). The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with attention to detail and character. We ordered two tartares, two sliced steaks, and two desserts for a total of €78, a truly fair price, especially considering the excellent quality of the products! Congratulations, we'll definitely be back :)

The best meat restaurant in Genoa. Here you'll find excellent fresh and aged meat, paired with excellent wine.
The prices are fair for the quality.

So definitely not a cheap place but of quality and rightly so, quality definitely comes at a price, a place that you can't go there every night but I made love with that steak... it was delicious... appetizer tartare with gorgonzola, the owner was very kind even to come and ask me if I had intolerances which is not a given... main course this rare steak was truly top with a side of potatoes, a bottle of red wine and dessert chocolate cake... coffee and amaro offered... 70 euros but it was there... would I go back?? I hope soon!! Really good!!

They deserve five stars and full marks. A lovely place, meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail; the staff is helpful, attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. The food is superb, with interesting recipes and excellent value. We had two tartares, a raw sausage with pesto (a must try!), a first course, a sliced steak, two desserts, and coffee; water and two glasses of Barbera: all for €50 each. It's definitely become one of my favorite places, and we'll be back as soon as we have the chance. For meat lovers, it's a must-visit. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

It's a paradise for burger lovers, meat lovers, cured meats, and cheese lovers. There are tables both inside and outside. They offer not only the dishes listed on the online menu, but also off-menu options. In some cases, like the cheese and cured meat platter, I think the portion is enough for two. Quick and professional service.

I advise restaurateurs to update their opening and closing hours. And to update their holidays. We looked for this place, walked a lot, and when we arrived, we found them closed for holidays.
It's a shame we'd known this beforehand, we wouldn't have driven all those miles.
