Small but welcoming place, very nice and particular decor (I really liked the tables made with butcher's cutting boards). The tartares are excellent, the fried brain fritters are fabulous. The main course was a beautiful and delicious steak which was served on hot cast iron. I recommend listening carefully to the sizzling of the meat because that is also part of the dish. Anyway, what can I say, the meat melted in your mouth. I highly recommend it 👏👏👏

The location is located in the center, easily accessible but only on foot. The place is very beautiful both inside and outside. The menu is predominantly meat-based but there are also vegetarian dishes. The service is excellent and fast: the staff is very helpful and kind. There is a lot of variety: appetizers with platters, tartare; first courses and second courses for all tastes. We only had a second course and a side dish: sliced ​​with berries and sliced ​​with port cream, both with grilled vegetables. The quality of the cream was excellent: really recommended. For a simple but quality dinner it is absolutely a recommended place!

The most recommended Steak Restaurant in Genova. It was great, but there are also other good places for steak in Genova. If you want properly aged steak and cooked rare, as it should be, then this place is the expert.

Piccolo ma bel locale nel pieno centro di Genova dove poter gustare dei piatti di carne davvero ottimi,qualità della carne eccellente,staff molto preparato. Bravo "parente"

Il locale è molto carino accogliente, dove poter mangiare ottime carni preparate alle perfezione. Una nota di merito va anche ai ravioli "au tuccu". Servizio veloce cordiale e preparato. Ottima cantina dei vini. Consigliato

Really good Fiorentina, medium-low maturation. Excellent flavour. The tartare with caramelized onion is also good, and the cheese platter with the gold cured meats is pleasant, the tiramisu with the addition of ricotta is really good and a little different from the usual although still traditional

If you are a meat lover, this is a must place to visit in Genoa old town. Absolutely amazing aged beef, salami, cheese and other delicacies are served in this place. With great wine list, and crafted beer, i am sure you will not be disappointed.

It was a good experience, but it didn't impress me much in terms of impact. Very good first courses, the T bon didn't drive me crazy, I really appreciated the tartare, especially the zola ❤️, logically it's not a place that everyone can afford, medium-high price 80-90 euros per person for sure.

29/07/2024: Exceptional cuisine, exceptional service, an address not to be missed in Genova. A perfect food and wine pairing to discover this regional gastronomy.
29/07/2024: My family and I went on Saturday evening to have dinner at the "Hostaria Ducale" inn in Genoa (it was also our wedding anniversary). We were welcomed by the precious waitress Alessia who patiently and extremely kindly explained all the dishes to us. I must say that I have rarely had the opportunity to taste such good dishes. It was a fantastic experience both for the precious search for food and for the mise en place. The work team and the chef truly deserve three Michelin stars! The prescinseua and pink prawn ravioli, the gabilo with coconut (the Chef will excuse me for how I express myself::) the milk dessert and the passion fruit "lollipop" are simply DIVINE! I recommend it to those who don't just want to eat , but to those who want to ENJOY dishes that are true sensorial and gustatory EXPERIENCES. Thank you, really thank you, to the whole team and the Chef!

04/01/2025: Facendola breve, l'unico contro è il prezzo. Circa 60 a testa con due portate più dolce è francamente troppo elevato. Gli antipasti variano circa nella fascia 12-16, i primi 15-20, idem i secondi. Contorni 4-5€ e dolci 8-9. 3€ di coperto. Il locale si trova affacciato sulla statale del Turchino che attraversa masone, facilissimo da vedere e da raggiungere. L'interno è curato, la tavola apparecchiata con cura e con stoviglie di qualità e la pulizia è impeccabile (Il bagno non esiterei a definirlo scintillante). Personale cortese, simpatico, rapido nel servizio; insomma, complimenti. Proposta gastronomica piuttosto in linea con la tradizione dell'entroterra ligure ma con l'aggiunta di alcune valide divagazioni. Tra cui anche alcune portate di pesce (pensiero eretico per molti). I dolci son ad un livello estremamente alto: Presentati senza fronzoli (quelli vanno bene a Milano) ma dal gusto sensazionale (a noi piace la sostanza). Cantina da intenditori, figlia della vicinanza col generoso (in questo ambito) Piemonte. Concludendo, vale sicuramente la pena andarci ma rimango convinto che la cifra sia un po' alta per esser a Masone.
