Rosso Corbezzolo In Scarlino

This is the second year in a row that we've stayed at Be Vedetta and we've been to the restaurant every evening. The view is incredibly beautiful, the service very attentive and polite, the wines are delicious, and the food is excellent. A big thank you to the entire staff and the chef.

Restaurant with a spectacular view: it dominates all of Follonica and, on clear days, you can even see the island of Elba. The service in the dining room, entrusted to a girl, was attentive, precise and never intrusive. Let's move on to the cuisine... The prices are high compared to the quality offered. My girlfriend ordered a tuna tartare (about 60 g), a really small portion. I had the courtyard ragù, but it simply seemed like drained and washed-out pasta, lacking flavor and structure. For the second course we chose two rare fillets, but they arrived well cooked, with an almost boiled consistency. And the kitchen was not under any pressure, given that there were only two tables for two in the dining room. I struggle to understand such quality in the face of prices that start at 20 euros and up per course. We had already been here two years ago and had a much better experience: we imagine that the chef has changed in the meantime.

Lovely place, we found it on the fork and booked. The menu changes based on availability as everything you eat comes from local producers. The view is breathtaking, the service impeccable and the food delicious (perhaps in my opinion some dishes slightly too salty). We booked for dinner for two and we know we will be back.
