Rosso Corbezzolo In Scarlino

This is our second year staying at Be Vedetta, and we ate at the restaurant every evening. The view is incredibly beautiful, the service is very attentive and polite, the wines are delicious, and the food is very tasty. A big thank you to all the staff and the chef.

A restaurant with a spectacular view: it overlooks all of Follonica, and on clear days, you can even see the island of Elba. The dining room service, led by a young woman, was attentive, precise, and never intrusive. Let's move on to the food... The prices are high for the quality offered. My girlfriend ordered a tuna tartare (about 60g), a truly small portion. I had the courtyard ragù, but it simply tasted like drained and washed-out pasta, lacking flavor and structure. For our second course, we chose two rare fillets, but they arrived well-done, almost boiled in texture. And the kitchen was under no pressure at all, given that there were only two tables for two in the dining room. I struggle to understand such quality given prices starting at 20 euros per course and up. We had been here two years ago and had a much better experience: we imagine the chef has changed in the meantime.

A charming place, we found it on The Fork and made a reservation. The menu changes based on availability, as everything comes from local producers. The view is breathtaking, the service impeccable, and the food delicious (perhaps some dishes were a little too salty, in my opinion). We made reservations for dinner for two and know we'll be back.
