Rosso Ciliegino In Fiumicino

I have to say everything was good and acceptable, especially the fish menu. I have some reservations about the meat. That's fine, though. Otherwise, I noticed that the set menu was missing something small but important that would have improved the restaurant's image and prestige.

A nice restaurant with excellent fish cuisine

We joined a truffle finding tour and then have lunch in this restaurant. Our guide is wonderful and surprisly friendly.

Very good pizza, welcoming atmosphere

Welcoming staff. Good food. Some of the appetizers are unique, the fish first course is good, and the fried fish is delicious.

Lunch with friends out of town. All seafood, with excellent appetizers, including mussels and bruschetta with baby octopus in tomato sauce and hummus. Gnocchi with saffron, zucchini flowers, and shrimp, and paccheri with seafood. Afterwards, a mixed fried fish dish, along with sea bream and scampi. An excellent organic pecorino cheese to accompany the drink. Thanks, keep it up.

We were the last to arrive, yet the owner warmly welcomed us. The ambiance is impeccable and tastefully decorated, the dishes are traditional, lightly yet flavorfully prepared, and the service is refined. Homemade desserts, excellent coffee, and limoncello—all for a more than reasonable price. What more could you ask for?

I'll start by saying the food deserves a 5-star rating. I'll start with what I didn't like: the number of appetizers brought and charged. I had asked for one supplì and a portion of Ascoli olives to nibble on. When I saw the number of items delivered, I thought it was a sign of special customer service, but instead I found myself billed for 5 supplì and 2 portions of Ascoli olives (when I remember, I'd asked for 1 and 1). I had 2 carbonaras, one amatriciana (both excellent and plentiful), a pizza with sausage and chips (excellent dough), and a sausage and potatoes. Half a white wine and water. Finally, 2 lemon sorbets, a black truffle, and 2 rounds of 2 limoncellos. All 4 limoncellos were charged, when with a dinner like that, I honestly expected at least 1 round to be offered. Of course, we asked for a double round, so it's fair to have to pay. I was definitely more annoyed by the charge for the appetizers. For the rest, the place is absolutely recommended.
