I visited this historic place (1879) twice in the same day, at the San Marco 950 location. The first stop was for a caffè macchiato at the counter, good and served in a standard cup; the cost was €1.40. Later, I had a crumble cake (€15) which I then tried at home. I found it pleasant, although not having a specific reference for this dessert, my impression remains subjective.

I only know the pastry shop. Excellent pastries and food. The only big flaw, the pigeons and therefore the hygiene…

We made a birthday gift with the pastry! A spectacular cake and all the management from the website with delivery to the hotel, they were very kind and did not help to make this surprise buying from Argentina. Thank you!!!!

Rosa Salva offers a Venetian fritola that is worth a visit. The amount of raisins inside is generous, adding a nice contrast of sweetness. The sprinkling of sugar on top is perfect, giving a touch of sweetness that rounds it all off well. If you like a fritola with more texture and a nice raisin flavor, this is a good choice!

*Only ate in Cafe*
Suggested to us by Venice native, this shop is close to San Marco’s square without being too expesive or a tourist trap. Easy to find and very cute. However, the service was TERRIBLE but the food was delicious. The cafe worker with purple hair was trash talking our attempt to speak Italian obviously not knowing we could understand her. We always try to speak the native language but this interaction was incredibly disrespectful.
