Excellent dishes, great service, quiet place. Probably the best restaurant in S. Caterina. I recommend to try local fish. But the swordfish is the best I have ever had.

A restaurant where the fish is prepared truly exceptionally. The raw fish appetizer is amazing, even the hot one is good. The swordfish skewers are excellent, and the hazelnut-crusted sea bass fillet is delicious. The service is courteous and attentive, although the kitchen is perhaps a little slow, but that's a small price to pay for the quality offered.

We went to "La Rosa dei Venti" in Santa Caterina dello Ionio Marina just this evening (August 20, 2025) with my husband and our two children, and it was truly a wonderful experience. My husband, not exactly a seafood fan, tried the Rustico appetizer: rich, varied, and plentiful, perfect for savoring the typical flavors of the area. The cured meats, he said, were amazing, and the small portion of eggplant parmigiana... divine! The youngest child opted for the special menu, with cutlet and chips, simple but tasty and, above all, very much appreciated. The eldest son and I instead chose the fish-based first courses, truly well prepared, with perfectly cooked pasta and very fresh toppings. The paccheri with swordfish and the linguine marinara were particularly beautiful. Finally, the fried fish was a pleasant confirmation: crispy, light, and without any grease. We also tried the tomatoes with Tropea onions. What can I say... nothing! Speechless. Fresh, authentic products. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, the staff is kind and attentive, even with the little ones. An ideal place for families and those who want to enjoy excellent meat or seafood dishes in peace. The restaurant has a mini playground, which I dare say is an added bonus! Fair prices, we ordered: -Rustic appetizer -Cotoletta with chips (very generous) -Linguine alla Marinara -Paccheri with swordfish -Tomato and Tropea salad -Fried fish -Beer/Glass of wine/2 stills/1 Fanta and a Coke (in a glass) We spent about €113. Excellent, well-cooked and flavorful dishes, friendly and helpful service. A lovely veranda with convenient private parking. Very fair prices for both the quality of the food and the wine selection.

Excellent. I think it's the best seafood restaurant I've ever eaten at. The raw fish is incredibly fresh, and whatever you eat is excellent. The service is highly professional.

We dined at this restaurant twice during our vacation in Calabria. The raw seafood and pasta dishes were noteworthy, as were their homemade bitters. The prices were fair and in line with the quality of the products offered, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Recommended.
